Oooohhh, any excuse for a trip to A&E...nothing more fun than sitting on a plastic chair under fluorescent lighting with a sick or injured child for six hours while your phone battery slowly dies and you're hungry and thirsty but don't dare pop to the hospital shop for anything because sods law, that's when your child will be called.

On a side note, one time I took DS to A&E he was running around as if nothing was wrong with him in the waiting room. The nurse gave me that look when he entered the triage room. He ended up staying the night on oxygen and steroids, because he had low blood O2 due to bronchiolitis.
Children are quite good as seeming as if nothing is wrong with them at first sight, until they crash.

His area A&E is Wrexham. It’s an industrial ex mining area in Wrexham itself. Wrexham children’s A&E was filmed for BBC Wales. You see the odd person in Tesco’s in PJ’s and it has a few areas of deprivation, a bit of a drugs problem but actually pretty nice and lovely place so he can do one.

Last time I went to a&e, I looked like shit. I was in the middle of deep cleaning the house! Perhaps I should have left my child bleeding whilst I dressed up a bit
