I have been with my DH a while
And recently realized we dont do it anymore except in bed
I miss it and dont know why it stops in long relationships

Generally only when we are being intimate. We’ve been together 15 years and have 3 children.

Bananawho · 28/11/2020 20:44

@Idontbelieveit12 thanks we have been together for 5 years married for 3
We used to do it while being intimate but that even that has kind of faded

Sorry but no thanks eugh

Bananawho · 28/11/2020 20:54

I mentioned this to him and he agreed but I dont want to force him if he doesn't want to
Shame we used to snog like mad when we were dating.

Not if I can help it 😬 I don't like it at all. You can passionately kiss without

Mum2jenny · 28/11/2020 20:55

I’d rather not, in general, but maybe in a moment......

VeniceQueen2004 · 28/11/2020 20:55

Wouldn't do it in front of DD, feels icky. But sometimes when she's not around! Usually leads to sex though so I don't initiate/prolong it unless I'm in the mood.

Michaelbaubles · 28/11/2020 20:56

Yes, but this always brings out the people who are disgusted at the very idea...

Aria2015 · 28/11/2020 20:56

Always do when we're being intimate but other than that, rarely / when we've had a few drinks maybe lol! Together 17 years and married for 10...

PickledRick · 28/11/2020 20:57

Only when being intimate. Sometimes it's only a peck on the cheek other times. We have been together 20 years. Thinking back, I think we only had kissing with tongue not leading to sex in the very early days of dating.

YewandOak · 28/11/2020 20:57

No,hate it myself.But then I'm not a kissy person.

JoJoSM2 · 28/11/2020 20:59

I wouldn’t find it appropriate around other people. Sometimes we do, though, in private and it needn’t lead to anything else.

coffeeandgin26 · 28/11/2020 20:59

Yep.

18 years together. Four kids

Still have a good ol' 'snog' (bloody hate that word) most days

LeslieYep · 28/11/2020 21:02

We've been together almost 10 years and I love a good snog!
We have 2 young DC though, so tend to keep it to the bedroom.

FlyingChirstmasTree · 28/11/2020 21:02

No, not since he started smoking again. I’ve never smoked and it really does taste/smell disgusting.

I’ve talked to him about this but he’s not planning on stopping smoking, not even if it means we’ll never kiss properly again. So I’ve just resigned myself to it. It’s affected our bedroom life massively, I don’t feel that interested in it anymore if I can’t actually kiss properly.

MaryShelley1818 · 28/11/2020 21:03

Love it and still always do it. Not just in passing but still often and not only when we're initiating sex.
Been together 4.5yrs (but known each other over 20yrs), married for 2yrs, have a toddler and I'm heavily pregnant.

Thehogfatherstolemycurry · 28/11/2020 21:04

Yrs, love a good snog tongues and all!
Been together 16 years, 2 kids.

Branleuse · 28/11/2020 21:05

Yes

PixelatedLunchbox · 28/11/2020 21:06

Yes

goodwinter · 28/11/2020 21:08

Only as part of foreplay, but I'm not a huge fan of it anyway so I'm fine with that 😬

Siepie · 28/11/2020 21:10

Yes, I love it! My ideal evening has got to be several glasses a glass of wine, a shitty romcom and ending up having a proper snog on the sofa.

CloudyVanilla · 28/11/2020 21:12

Ew no! It's very sexual to me, I only do it during sex and during the build up to sex.

I can't imagine doing it and then just carrying on. We kiss lots as I just love kissing his beardy handsome face but I'm not going to stick my tongue down his throat in the middle of the day.

HollyBollyBooBoo · 28/11/2020 21:12

Oh my god yes, love a good snog!!

Bananawho · 28/11/2020 21:13

@Siepie that's my ideal evening tooSmile
