Will Donald pardon the turkeys or will the turkeys pardon Donald?

So did 75 minutes of Guillani's mad ramblings produced anything of note or is it just more of the same?

I can't shake the fear that the tango narcissist can somehow bully his way into stealing this

NEW: @realdonaldtrump invites Michigan GOP leaders to White House, as he seeks to have them throw out the results of that state's election (in which Trump lost by 157,000 votes).

It appears the Michigan GOP leaders are actually coming.

Michigan's Senate Majority Leader @SenMikeShirkey said on Tuesday that Biden won the state and the election, and a plan to have the legislature throw out the results was "not going to happen."

The president may be seeking to change his mind.

Thanks Toffee - more insane ramblings then!

It's shocking if the Michigan leader has agreed to go the White House to be pressured/bribed

AcrossthePond55 · 19/11/2020 19:25

I missed the 'live' coverage. Sounds as if I didn't miss much more than I've missed by not being able to stand in front of the chimpanzee enclosure at the zoo and watch the chimps throw poo at the plexiglass.

In fact, watching the chimps fling poo would probably have been vastly more entertaining. And the poo would have been flung by creatures of higher IQ than Rudy.

So, Hugo Chavez (died 2013) is 'in on it'? Maybe that's who they mean by 'dead people voting'.

Blueberries0112 · 19/11/2020 19:27

@SugarbabyMilly

it will be a toxic family relationship with all five of them, huge consequences for the future I think.

I read that he doesn't like having his photo taken with Tiffany because he thinks she looks overweight. He really is vile.

Unless it came out his mouth in public, I think this is a mean thing to write about in a article
Anon778833 · 19/11/2020 19:47

@Blueberries0112 'mean' poor old Trump my heart bleeds. Hmm

Anon778833 · 19/11/2020 19:49

It was said by one of his PAs who still, incidentally thinks he should have won this election.

Trump's lawyer stated on oath that he had told him to threaten people at least 500 times whilst he worked for him.
nyorksdad · 19/11/2020 19:54

Yes I can imagine he will throw everything at him.

BruceAndNosh · 19/11/2020 20:00

Sidney Powell "RELEASE THE KRAKEN" reminds me of the lawyer in Erin Brokovich who has "two wrong feet in fucking ugly shoes"

nyorksdad · 19/11/2020 20:15

Brilliant concession speech mashup

Igotjelly · 19/11/2020 20:34

I do often find myself wondering if Trump believes his own bullshit and genuinely thinks the election has been "stolen"

Anon778833 · 19/11/2020 20:45

He thinks that saying he won the election enough times will make it true 🙄

nauticant · 19/11/2020 20:49

I suspect he just doesn't really think in those terms and a lifetime of using dishonesty, criminal behaviour, and heavy duty legal abuse means he thinks in terms of "what is up for grabs in this situation and how can I grab it and keep hold of it?"

I don't care about Trump, if I was Tiffany and I read a rumor about my body when they can't confirm , I would just feel awful. It means someone don't like how I look, rather it is my father or someone spreading a rumor

DGRossetti · 19/11/2020 21:19

I wonder what would happen if the whole election were to be declared invalid ? Because as far as I can see that is possibly Trumps end game, in some sort of assumption that makes him president by default ?

Only an invalid election produces no result - by definition it's invalid.

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 19/11/2020 21:30

But at that point, he and Pence are no longer in office after 20th January 2021, and Pelosi is acting President and calls a new election.

MoonJelly · 19/11/2020 21:32

If we start with the fiction there's a "justice" system in eiher country, then it's not going to be improved if defendants can't be represented.

But Trump isn't a defendant here, he's bringing the cases. And I'm reasonably sure the same principle applies in the US that applies here, that although lawyers have a duty to present their client's case, they don't have any duty to present blatant lies as the truth. They certainly don't have the duty to act as Giuliani did in a recently reported case: he was suing states X and Y based on evidence of alleged misconduct in state Z's election. He didn't choose to sue state Z, because they went solidly Republican. You can guess which way X and Y went.

DuncinToffee · 19/11/2020 21:53

They keep saying they have evidence, going to prove 'it' without actually supplying any of that evidence.

tobee · 19/11/2020 21:55

Agreed! I think it's very difficult for the rest of us to get our heads around because with not had a lifetime of this thinking. Because it's not "normal" thinking. A hideous mixture of narcissism fuelled by insecurity?
