God I hope Biden wins... or to put it another way, I hope that Trump has lost.

I think this period of history will be seen as either a terrible black spot in our human development (as Hilter’s leadership became), or it becomes the point at which society started the decline and unravelling of civilisation as we know it. I hope we, as a world can pull ourselves back from the brink.

Recognition and rejection of the horror of Trump, who parades his grasping selfish inhumanity before him, is a step in the right direction.

Rudy Giuliani's presser targets ALL mail in ballots. This suggests the legal move will be to at least get the numbers of the votes without these being included, such that Trump can simply claim he lost due to fraud even if he does step down. His main claim is that poll watchers were uniformly deprived of their right to inspect any single part of the ballots by 'democrat hacks'. This is not their right, but nor is it true: they are there to observe process, not audit individual ballots... and they were allowed to observe throughout, as was the entire world on a live stream. There was a bizarre claim about Will Smith's dad voting while dead; and now apparent observers are talking about their experiences. It's bordering on ridiculous now, I think the next few months are going to be trying.

A lame duck president can do a lot of harm, and with national security apparatus being the target today, this does pose significant risk. It'll be interesting to see how that behaviour changes (intensifies or otherwise) pre and post the electoral college votes being registered.

@ThistleWitch - Trump supporters, of whom I presume Baluchistan95 is one, believe Trump's claim that he was "tough on China" and forced them to pay billions of dollars to the USA. The reality is that he didn't force them to pay anything - it was American consumers that paid. The US trade deficit with China reached historic highs under Trump. But his supporters continue to believe he was tough on China and that he made America great again.
