why should i expect vitriol though?
i could have started a thread saying i dont like prosecco,
i probably have.

Exactly- more snobbery OP- prosecco also very popular but looked down on by the snobby!

People don't start threads about things for no reason- makes you feel better about yourself because you rise above the 'common'. Or did you want a rally of people agreeing with awful these popular things are and how you have so much more taste than the masses.

I don't really wear jewellery these days as metal brings me out in an itchy rash, I used to have a charm bracelet from H Samuel when I was about 10 and I did love it but got upset when charms fell off and went missing so I've never really bothered with them since! I also have short chunky little arms and I think more delicate jewellery suits them better.

I don’t like pandora either. They look too big and chunky. I do like charm bracelets though. Pandora does do other nice jewellery such and pendants and earrings. I have a snowflake pendant and necklace which is so pretty. But just not keen on their charm bracelets

I think they're quite expensive for what they are. Also, I reckon that some people view them as a collectable investment - but judging by a conversation I overheard in a jeweller's shop a couple of years ago, they are worth precisely the current scrap value of silver by weight and nothing more. The person trying to sell their charms to the jeweller was very taken aback.

I'm not a fan of them either! Clunky and bulky on my wrists lol

I quite like them, but prefer the old-fashioned charm bracelets. They are a pretty collection of special memories - I find the idea 'charming' although wearing one is a bit scratchy and you worry if an expensive bit will fall off as they are quite fragile. Pandora seem to have improved on both of those problems.

But you've reminded me of my favourite bracelets - strings of love-beads. I'd still be wearing them if the elastic hadn't died!

I like them, but wouldnt want one as they are too popular. I can see theattraction, especially as they allow for gifting from children etc.

Couldn't care less what anyone else thinks

@daisychain1620 It's not just a wee discussion gathering opinions tho. It's just pitching the Pandora likers against the Pandora dislikers. Completely pointless discussion. We all like different jewellry, so what.

They had some nice necklaces, but having looked at the website even they are now overpriced tat.

Of course you are not unreasonable for not liking something. You are unreasonable for obviously starting a thread for people to say how shit they are so that those that have them worry about liking them.
You knew how this would go.

I personally don’t like them because I find bracelets like that (with dangly charms) a little annoying to wear. I feel like they’re always a little in the way.
I don’t mind the general style when worn by other people though

Total chavtastic junk. If you want a sterling silver bracket get it from Claire's accessories for a quarter of the price. It's just cheap overpriced tat in pandora

It's not compulsory to like them. I'm sure you buy things other people hate.

I am with you OP, I don't really like any Pandora items, the rings look cheap and tacky!

I dont have, or want, one but wouldn't give it a second thought if I noticed anyone wearing one. Each to their own for me.
