What party food do you wish would make a comeback?

AIBU to miss old school party food?
I would love to turn up at a party and for them to be serving cheese and pineapple on cocktail sticks.
Anything else anyone misses?

We still have these at buffets! I wouldn't attend one without them

Party Rings, bowls of Hula Hoops and Skips, cocktail sausages, and cheese and pineapple on a stick. Oh, and those chocolate animal shaped biscuits.

I love cheese and pineapple, doesn't need to make a comeback because I can have it at home

All of it althoughcheese and pineapple is top of the liat. Party food is the best thing about kids' parties.

I always put those on my buffets. It isn't a proper buffet without them

Finger rolls cut in half with salmon spread on.

Prawn Vol-au-vents!!

I prefer cheese and a silverskin onion.

Ritz crackers with Philadelphia cheese.

Prawn vol au vents, mushroom vol au vents.

Marmite pinwheel sandwiches.

Devilled eggs.

Massive trays of baked potatoes, bowls of grated mature cheddar, Branston pickle, salty butter and silver skin onions. My mum was quite daring in the 70s and 80s and that's what we always had!

Do any children’s parties still serve jelly and ice cream?

When we have a bring-it buffet I always bring a pickle hedgehog (cheese, pickled onions, pineapple, cocktail sausages) and a pickle veg-hog for the vegetarians/vegans. They are always completely devoured It's ot a buffet if you don't have a hedgehog!
