AIBU to think that women don't want Cock Shots

Just been chatting online to a potential date about cock shots, and he said loads of women ask for them on OLD.

I expressed surprise and said in my experience as a women and my also my friends, most women don't appreciate a doc pic.

Well obviously he's mansplained it to me, and many women do enjoy cock shots (apparently)

Am I so wrong? I would assume anyone wanting a dic pic was one of the online scammers and "normal" OLD women certainly DO NOT want pictures of penises in their inbox!

Am I wrong. Do some women actually want dic pics?

I thought this was my opportunity to post a naked mole rat, but others were quicker off the mark.

Frankly do you really think many women who are on a dating site to find a partner, rather than a one of casual sex encounter, will ask a man they have never met for a dick pic?

He probably is one of these sad men who send women explicit, unsolicited pics and messages because in his twisted mind he has convinced himself that it is acceptable behaviour...

But the key is they instigated it. And tbh we don't know the context of the 'instigation'. Unfortunately many women still let a man 'take the lead' and agree to things even though they aren't that comfortable with it because the man seems interesting in other ways. I'm not saying you dropped hints or subtly led the direction, but it does happen.

I've been married since God was a Corporal, OLD didn't even exist let alone the ability to send pics in a snap back then, so I have no actual experience. But I don't know of a single woman from age 26-66 (age range of family & friends) that actually wants dick pics from some random man she's never met IRL.

And don't generalize. There are women here from every demographic. And not wanting unsolicited pictures of some man's penis isn't 'prudish'. It's all about consent .

Whether you are single or not, if a man approached you in the street and exposed himself to you then that would be a crime.

IMO unsolicited dick pics should be treated in the same way.

One such man posted a thread on MN, pics and everything. . He was seeking a bit of.. afternoon delight as I recall. Caused quite a stir before the deletion message!

I saw one dropped into the crochet subreddit. It got deleted pretty quick, but had been seen by a good number of people defore deletion.

Some women seem to laugh at receiving them and continue the conversation even if they are deeply offended. This may obviously being misconstrued as them liking receiving the pic.

They have their uses but look repulsive. I think the majority of women who do this are just trying to please the man by making him think she wants it.

Lots of my friends have used/are using OLD and all appear to have received cock pics and all say not wanted.....

There’s a massive difference between consensual sexting and a bloke you’ve been chatting to about Line of Duty suddenly saying ‘wanna see something’ and sending you a photo of his semi-on taken in his shared house bathroom.

And I don’t believe that most women ask for dick pics unless it’s in response to them having sent photos to a guy, and ‘asking’ is not the same as him saying ‘wanna see my dick’ and her saying something noncommittal in reponse.

Just not saying ‘fuck no’ does not mean she actually asked you.

Well, you said you deleted him after his reaction to your surprise, what was his reaction to your surprise? If you just deleted him just because he said some women like them it seems a bit unreasonable. Maybe I have missed something?

I HAVE asked for pics and also a video once, with someone I was already having text sex with. I enjoyed it very much.
But out of the blue pics I don't enjoy because i'm not in the mood for them at that time, I just delete them and block. I don't think it's a big deal at all.

No one is talking about random dick pics.

She asked him if women on OLd ever ask for dick pics, and he answered that some do.

That’s a fact, and he expressed it based on his own experiences (my experience is the same). Not sure what people are struggling to understand or why people keep banging on about unsolicited pics.

It’s like asking a car salesmen if some people expect unreasonable discounts and then being put out when he says yes just because you don’t do it yourself - bonkers

He told me he got lots of women asking for pictures of his dick. I replied that I was very surprised at that. He said "Well women like looking at them!" I replied "Really, I don't think most women would" And the bit that got him deleted he text back "What would you know!!"

All I can say is that I've sometimes enjoyed the odd dick pic from my DH when he's been away from home and once when we were both feeling rather horny and he was due home from work within the hour! (Taken within the privacy of a toilet cubicle).
