AIBU to think that women don't want Cock Shots

Just been chatting online to a potential date about cock shots, and he said loads of women ask for them on OLD.

I expressed surprise and said in my experience as a women and my also my friends, most women don't appreciate a doc pic.

Well obviously he's mansplained it to me, and many women do enjoy cock shots (apparently)

Am I so wrong? I would assume anyone wanting a dic pic was one of the online scammers and "normal" OLD women certainly DO NOT want pictures of penises in their inbox!

Am I wrong. Do some women actually want dic pics?
@Desperado24 if it wasn't for the fact you've mentioned you're married I'd think you were actually the guy on the OLD.

I think you're very brave giving your opinion and thanks for your input on here but it's just that - your opinion! Just because you say random women in the internet have asked for pics of your penis doesn't actually mean it's true, were they scammers?

If you read the PPs there doesn't appear to be any women that wants a strangers Dick Pic!
Erm. All the women who initiated sexting and sending of intimate pictures I went on to meet in real life.

They were real people, and other than paying for a meal and drinks and taxis a few times none of them ever asked me for anything.

How is that not real or just an opinion? It’s a real and accurate reflection of my experience of online dating and it sound like it (not surprisingly) matches the experience of the guy you were messaging.

You asked and he answered honestly (although not very politely) however suggesting he is better equipped to answer the question accurately than you were is a fact.

Actually, with hindsight, one of them raised smoked salmon out of my fridge for breakfast so maybe I was scammed Hmm

Blondiney · 28/08/2020 14:31

They do nowt for me, I'm a vegetarian.

YouJustDoYou · 28/08/2020 14:36

No one I know, or has every known, has ever actively sought a picture of an ugly, dangly, man's worm. No woman I've ever known has discussed getting turned on by cock shots. Ever.

Lollyneenah · 28/08/2020 14:43

Unsolicited is very wrong.

However.

I do wish I could have some how pre-screened back in my single days. I've got a very expressive face and honestly I dont know how I held it together when confronted with a weird looking one in the privacy of a suitors bedroom.

There was the one that looked like a partially cooked sausage roll. And one that looked like a portobello mushroom poking out of a hedge.

Zaphodsotherhead · 28/08/2020 14:45

I can get my head around some women wanting dick shots. Heated sexting notwithstanding though, in cold blood, who would want to see a dick? If you aren't in the same mood, aren't turned on, then it's just another picture reminding you of stuff you are supposed to be doing.

It's bad enough trying to fit in the housework and pets and kids and day job without men repeatedly trying to remind you that, oh yes, you've got to make time for sex too...

Divebar · 28/08/2020 14:46

Absolutely. I don’t have conversations with all my friends about this so I’m surprised that all these women know about all their friends ( or believe them). The two friends I referenced in most cases haven’t met the men in question. I’ve no idea who initiates these conversations since I haven’t broken the conversation down to that extent but I know it’s part and parcel of an aspect of online sex play that they enjoy and participate in actively.

Arthersleep · 28/08/2020 14:52

I thought that you were advertising a new cocktail. 2 for 1 on cock shots!

The women who ask them are probably a bit tragic and desperate, and they ask because they think it's what the man wants to hear.

Stompythedinosaur · 28/08/2020 15:35

I love a cock, but I've never wanted a dick pic sent. It is literally something that only really creepy people do.

My hilarious (in his opinion) dp has recently taken to sending my dik dik pictures (as it the small antelope).

WonderTweek · 28/08/2020 15:37

@Stompythedinosaur I would love a dik dik pic! Your husband sounds ace. Grin

formerbabe · 28/08/2020 15:41

Out of all my friends, many of whom would not be good candidates for a nunnery Wink, absolutely none of them request photos of male genitalia from strangers on the internet.

cravingthelook · 28/08/2020 15:42

@Stompythedinosaur my hilarious ex (still friends he's awesome) sends me pictures of cockerels 😂

Desperado24 · 28/08/2020 15:43

You know this how?

Do you think they would tell you if they did?

How many of them are OLDing because let’s face it if they are all married and in their fifties they probably aren’t very relevant to this thread

YouJustDoYou · 28/08/2020 15:50

Desperado seems absolutely desperate for some reason to prove all women want dick pics 😂😂

Chocaholic9 · 28/08/2020 15:50

Nope

Arthersleep · 28/08/2020 15:56

If I were dating and if any chap sent me a picture of his, I would be tempted to thank him politely and ask if he wanted to see a picture of mine, before sending him a picture of someone else's cock and the word 'snap!'

OneForMeToo · 28/08/2020 15:58

I mean if I was dating again I may wish to see the good before I invest too much time Grin however unsolicited dick pics are just grim. Normally from men with both much to offer any department of his life.

EleanorOalike · 28/08/2020 15:59

I know so many women who left OLD because they were sad about being so disrespected by creeps sending dick pics. It put many women I know off dating altogether.

I know this because they told me. And they were single 25-40.

OneForMeToo · 28/08/2020 15:59

With not much to offer.

Silly phone.

slappaplek · 28/08/2020 16:01

@eatsleepread

In my case I was neither tragic or desperate, just enjoying some hot sexting, I didn't ask him because I thought he wanted me to, I asked because I wanted to.

People enjoy different things, no need for such sweeping judgemental statements because someone likes something you don't.

lazylinguist · 28/08/2020 16:06

I can well believe that women really do ask for dick pics on OLD, but I think men are being very naïve if they think many of them do so because they actually want the pics. I expecf women ask for them because they know men want to think women like dick pics.

Rigamorph · 28/08/2020 16:06

Can be a bit of fun in the right context, usually an exchange of 'I'll show you mine if you show me yours'.
But unsolicited and unexpected - no. That's like being flashed by a random stranger (as opposed to seeing someone you desire in the nude)

DioneTheDiabolist · 28/08/2020 16:07

Am I wrong. Do some women actually want dic pics?
A very small % of women do. But there are loads of men posing as women on OLD sites who do love them.Wink
