To think that there's loads of famous people using MN?

Just that. I've noticed a few threads recently saying they knew someone famous or were a newsreader/in the media and I was thinking is MN just full of famous people having discussions on threads that they couldn't do face to face for fear of bad press.

Think whatever you like, it's not unreasonable.

Oh there are. I often use Mumsnet to see what is being said about me but unfortunately there has been a lack of 4g during my sojourn in a idyllic cliff top in Scotland so I may be somewhat out of touch, sory about that old chap. It's not the same Scotland as it used to be though, some of the locals seem to play the fiddle more than the bagpipes.

But yes OP I certainly can remember for eg Caitlin Moran posting (this was over a decade ago!).

I don't doubt there are but nobody would admit to it .

There was once a thread a few years back where a poster alluded to being famous and other posters speculated that the poster was Katie Hopkins ,but of course the poster didn't confirm either way,maybe she was or maybe she was just Julie from Nuneaton 😂

Every time I see someone say that their husband/best friend/brother is famous in real life I immediately assume they are lying. Because if it was true surely they wouldn't want people speculating and advance searching them to try to piece together clues.

There are threads/comments that get deleted on here that no one would bother with or notice IRL Or elsewhere on the internet. But the subject of the post is on MN so they complain and things go.
