To ask how often you shower?

I only shower 3-4 times a week, to be honest. Is that gross? I especially will skip a shower if my hair looks good.

I do, however, change undies every morning.

Every morning- I feel dirty otherwise. If it's been a hot day, I sometimes shower at night too. DH is the same.

Our 6 year old son has a shower each evening.

Twice a day morning and evening. The second bath is more out of habit and also because I love the feeling of being relaxed and clean before getting into bed. But in this heat, the amount I'm sweating, I need it.

Every 3 to 4 times or whenever it's boiling hot or particularly sweaty or smelly. I use deodorant, a nicely scented moisturizer and perfume

I only wash my hair about twice, maybe 3 times a week though.

I could never leave the house without showering & moisturizing - id personally feel dirty..

Daily shower, wash my hair every 3 days.

That may be correct, The hairs probably help the sweat evaporate, meaning there is not a warm wet place for smelly bogies to grow

Yes I thought that might be the case, but it’s a widely held belief especially on MN that removing body hair is more hygienic!

I bathe or shower everyday ....after dinner in the evening...I like to go to bed all clean...I also wash my hair daily at the same time

Usually every day, especially in the hot weather. I tend to be quite sweaty.

Shower daily, bath probably 2 or 3 times a week. I wash my hair when I have a bath.

Every day. My greasy hair demands it.

They do play outside most days but bathing is part of their bedtime routine, has been since they were tiny babies!

I could just about stretch to every 2 days depending on what they'd been doing but you say you only wash your children twice a week? Is that a bath/shower but still a daily wash?

Littlest is still in nappies and eldest just learning to wipe his bottom properly so of course they need a proper bath daily! I grew up having a bath every night!

@hauntedvagina - I'm a child of the 60s, happy days! Yes, I remember the awful showerhead over the taps, or else tipping a jug of water over my head! I'm not sure how we arrived at this point where people have to bathe several times a day - seems an awful waste of water (not to mention time!)

@hauntedvagina not trying to be goady I just can't see how it doesn't make sense to bathe young children at least every day but ideally daily!

Every day. My friend only washes every 2 or 3 days, and it's telling.

A) Is people having different kinds of skin really beyond you?

B) Not everyone has had very warm weather recently. Not even everyone in the UK!

Every day in the evening, sometimes a quick shower in the morning especially with the weather being as humid as it has been. 🥵

I do some of my best thinking in the shower.

1-2 times a day. Also bath a couple of times a week.

I think some people just dislike the sensation of getting wet so shower less. I shower every day because of cleanliness but also because I love the feeling of it.

Every morning, personally I would feel disgusting if I didn't but each to their own!

It depends. If the weather is hot and sweaty then I’ll shower every day and wash my hair. If it’s cold (and my DP isn’t around so we won’t be having sex) then I shower every other day and just use dry shampoo if my hair feels a bit unclean.
If I lived on my own and it was always cooler outside then I would stick to showering every other day
