I saw it for the first time on Disney plus, and have now fallen in love with the music. It's one of my favourite musicals now.

YABU. I thought it was dreadful!

HugeAckmansWife · 29/07/2020 11:30

Well nothing is to everyone's taste. I hate heavy metal music but that doesn't mean it's bad, just not for me.

EnglishGirlApproximately · 29/07/2020 11:33

I keep doing the la de da bits and also 'Here comes the General'. My family have declined to say this when I walk in the room Grin

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 29/07/2020 11:35

I have permanently had the songs in my head since I saw it on stage last year. I absolutely love it!

TheLastDynasty · 29/07/2020 11:38

I’ve had it stuck in my head since approximately 2015 so YADNBU. I’ve seen it twice on the West End and have watched the film 3 times. Totally obsessed.

I have been singing "SOUTHERN MOTHERFUCKIN' DEMOCRATIC REPUBLICANS" at really inopportune times on repeat for 2 years now hahahaha.

And now I've seen the OBC I am extremely in love with Daveed Diggs (who plays Lafayette/Jefferson).

LooksBetterWithAFilter · 29/07/2020 14:09

YANBU at all. I watched it with dd it’s been one of her favourites for a while now and I am hooked absolutely loved every minute of it can’t wait until we can go and see it in the theatre

Cancangirlie · 29/07/2020 14:46

Ahhh.... The room where it happened! Smile

Sammilouwho · 29/07/2020 15:00

Every so often I keep singing 'i am Alexander Hamilton, and there's a million things I haven't done...' so now my toddler calls me Alexander Hamilton instead of mum.

wildthingsinthenight · 29/07/2020 15:01

Yep. You'll Be Back is my earworm 24/7

wildthingsinthenight · 29/07/2020 15:02

I love Jonathon Groff!!

WinterAndRoughWeather · 29/07/2020 15:03

I’ve had Yorktown in my head all day, but we did watch it again last night (and I’ve been listening to the cast recording several times a week for the last month...).

ShowOfHands · 29/07/2020 15:06

Give it up for America's favourite fighting Frenchman!

I may or may not yell the above every time I descend any set of stairs.

RhodaDendron · 29/07/2020 15:09

Love it! DH and I can spend days speaking to each other in Hamilton. If I call him Angelica he will trill back ‘ELI-IZAAH’. No we haven’t gone mad wfh at all...

Anon234 · 29/07/2020 15:10

I am completely obsessed. I watched the film for the 3rd time last night and couldn't sleep because the songs were playing on repeat in my head!

Roblakeswife · 29/07/2020 15:12

Love it. Kids and me are obsessed too.

audweb · 29/07/2020 15:15

YANBU, I watched it for the first time last week and now it’s on repeat. Have you checked out the mixtape? As a hip hop/rnb fan from the 90’s/00’s I love the remixes on it.

WendyHoused · 29/07/2020 15:17

I’ve been listening to it daily for nearly 4 years.

It’s not just a musical, it’s a way of life.

thatwouldbeanecumenicalmatter · 29/07/2020 15:20

PiggyPlumPie · 29/07/2020 15:23

I'm currently listening to the Muppets version of the soundtrack and am crying laughing.
