To have the music from Hamilton stuck in my head for weeks on end?

I saw it for the first time on Disney plus, and have now fallen in love with the music. It's one of my favourite musicals now.

Took my daughters to see it in the west end last year as they and their friends are Hamilton mad.I had no idea what it was about nor had heard any of the songs before.I absolutely loved it

Honestly I'm obsessed, my favourites are Satisfied, What'd I miss, the cabinet battles and The room where it happens. Can't stop singing them over and over, in my head and out loud! Luckily 6yo DS also enjoys them

Just discovering the mix tape now. I love Sia too. This music makes me happy, but has now replaced any conscious thoughts.

I took my DD10 to London to see HAMILTON. She is autistic and one of the things the Victoria Palace offers is a quiet room for waiting both before the show and during the interval. Now I had been a few times and knew the lie of the land but for her I called asked about the quiet room and was told just to ask the staff on the door who would get us an usher on the night. Ok no problem I think.

On the night I asked at the door and the guy looked as if he was a rabbit caught in the headlights, he then got me an usher who took us inside but tbh didn't look much better. By this point I'm wondering if we should have bothered because maybe people didn't actually do this and they really didn't seem to know what to do. We had travelled from Scotland and it had been really stressful for her though so I still thought it was right to ask.

The usher brought us to a quiet staircase and then gave me his best apology and said the quiet room actually had 'guests' in it that evening and we could wait where we were or just go to our seats. I was a little bit pissed off because I had been trying to keep a lid on her anxiety but I didn't make a big deal of it, for the same reason.

Well....

Next day we are zooming home on the train and I'm just casually on Facebook, where I read that Lin-Manuel Miranda AND Daveed Diggs had been at the same show the night before. The fucking guests in the quiet room were LMM & DD!!!!

So yeah. We didn't get the quiet room AND we were literally in the room where it happened with LMM &DD and didn't have clue until the next day!

I’ve been listening to it since the cast recording was released in 2015. Booked tickets for the London show almost a year in advance. I am a serious musicals fan and I think this is one of if not THE best I‘ve ever seen.

Daveed Diggs is in the Snowpiercer series (Netflix, I think) and I’m very looking forward to it.
