To have the music from Hamilton stuck in my head for weeks on end?

I saw it for the first time on Disney plus, and have now fallen in love with the music. It's one of my favourite musicals now.

I think people who didn't watch the second act have missed out. One Last Time and Quiet Uptown are beautiful songs. As is the closing number.

I don't get it. It's clever lyrics and a very full
Musical but none of it is memorable for me, very meh..

We watched it in Disney+ too for a homework project.

Apparently I'm odd not to rave about it and I've lost coolness points (which luckily I have in spades usually ) I'm sure DCs will play it over and over though so I may be forced to learn bits of it by osmosis...

Loved being able to watch it on Disney Plus.

But the original London cast was miles better. A phenomenal piece of theatre.

I've found my people too! My son has loved it for 4 years and has tried to get me to listen to it for the whole time.

Watched it on the first night it came o to Disney plus and have watched it about 20 times so far.

I have it permanently in my head and sing excepts all the time.

Yep, I wake up with a different song in my brain every morning. And I love it! I have been listening to the soundtrack on Amazon Music for about a year but seeing the amazing performances is just... another level. The physicality of Leslie Odom Jr's performance is breathtaking. And all the things going on in the background. It's so detailed. Would loooooove to see it on stage. V jealous of those of you who have.

I am now listening to In The Heights on Spotify to prepare for the film, and the Moana soundtrack just because it's ace. And can't wait for the next series of His Dark Materials (rereading the books). Didn't think I would believe LMM as Scoresby but he is perfect. I am a huge fan of LMM! 😻

Somehow I ended up with the schuyler sisters stuck in my head before I even watched it! my friends wouldn’t stop talking about the Schuyler sisters So I gave up and listened to it and wow I love it!

Remember watching Leslie win the Tony and LMM being so emotional and proud even though he was in the same category. LMM seems perfect in so many ways.

While listening to the soundtrack on repeat on YouTube I saw a comment that said, “DO NOT listen to the Hamilton soundtrack to try to get it out of your head, it only gets you in deeper!”
So true! Downloaded the soundtrack now so it’s always with me.
Glad I’m not the only one with a bit of a crush on Lin-Manuel Miranda too...

Erm I've had the songs stuck in my head for a good three years! Check out the Hamildrops on YouTube, songs that didn't make it into the show or just extras, the Ben Franklin one is very sweary. Also the mixtape which is modern day takes on the songs by the RnB stars that first inspired Lin. The lyrics in Immigrant song are very clever.

I love Schuyler sisters & King George's songs. I would do bad things to Jonathan Groff, like make him talk and sing and tell me stories for hours and then give me a hug before I leave

Love it!! It’s been played in my car on constant!! Even my 6 year old knows the lyrics!! It absolutely blew my mind too. Thought it was going to be complete rubbish but now I’m hooked!

If anyone needs more of Daveed Diggs he is the lovely teacher in Wonder, also in Black-ish, a small part in Kimmy Schmidt.

There are a serious of youtube videos of the original cast playing for the Obama at the White House which is nice and surreal as they stand under Washington portrait. Also Lins first performance of the first part of Hamilton at the spoken word evening at the WH. Its great because at the start the audience are a bit bewildered as to why he's talking about A Ham but they are all snapping along at the end.
