To clean with boobs out?

NC for this absolutely mortified.

Got up after a night shift yesterday and cracked on with some cleaning which I think is impressive in itself. Didn't see the point in getting dressed only to get all sweaty so kept my PJs on, which for me is PJ bottoms and a strap top.

Anyway, day off today and had a note through the door saying
"Can you please dress more appropriately for activities like cleaning. My husband and I were very uncomfortable with your display yesterday "

Now, admittedly I am very well endowed in the boob area (100% not a stealth boast, they literally get on my tits and I'm hoping to have a reduction once we've finished having kids) and the girls did pop out a few times. It wasnt a very supportive or concealing top as it's been retired from my wardrobe and relegated to the pajama drawer. 😳

I am absolutely mortified and want to find a way to apologise, but the note was anonymous!

DH fell about laughing and said that I have every right to dress how I wish in my own home and if they don't like looking at me they have every right to look away.

Thing is though, I'm now thinking of all the times I've wandered around naked after a shower waiting for cream to soak in or fake tan to dry! I've never thought twice about it!

Unless you cleaned your windows with your boobs out, squeaking up and down the window, US car wash style , you are allowed to wear whatever you choose in your home.

@MamaLion1319 I definitely did not look in any way seductive unless he finds unbrushed hair, under eye bags and wobbly bits particularly sexy!

FWIW I clean in PJs with no bra too. My pj tops are t shirt style but even so.

All the "do it naked" commenters, DH just messaged me to say that tomorrow we should both strip off and do a coordinated and synchronized naked clean 🤣

But surely you know you can be seen? How weird, if you're that embarrassed! No way would I clean with popping out boobs if I knew people could see. But I agree about cleaning in pjs being a great idea. I do it too and shower immediately after.

How very odd. I'd be keeping my boobs well away from anywhere the neighbours might see them, and if I was regularly flashing, I'd think it was fair enough if they asked me to be more discrete.

Imagine the reverse - a guy whose knob was constantly falling out of his boxers where the neighbours could see. That would be quite creepy actually, and no-one would believe it was an accident. Especially if it happened more than once.

I'm with your DH! It's your home to do and wear what you want. Why are your neighbours gawping in! I wouldn't know if my neighbours walk round stark naked as I don't sit at my window watching

Nah fuck that. As long as you aren’t purposely facing your neighbours’ windows waiting to flash them, you wear whatever you want in your own house. If you can work out who it is, maybe write a note back asking them not to watch you as it makes you uncomfortable.

@missmouse101 nope, it's not obvious that anyone can see in, we can't see into any of the surrounding properties aside from a bit of kitchen or front room or whatnot... hence my mortification!!!

A colleague of mine once told another chap in the office "your housemate sometimes sunbathes nude". The chap replied "I didn't think you could see my back garden from your house". My colleague replied "I can get a great view if I lie on top of the wardrobe in the kids room".
