NC for this absolutely mortified.

Got up after a night shift yesterday and cracked on with some cleaning which I think is impressive in itself. Didn't see the point in getting dressed only to get all sweaty so kept my PJs on, which for me is PJ bottoms and a strap top.

Anyway, day off today and had a note through the door saying
"Can you please dress more appropriately for activities like cleaning. My husband and I were very uncomfortable with your display yesterday "

Now, admittedly I am very well endowed in the boob area (100% not a stealth boast, they literally get on my tits and I'm hoping to have a reduction once we've finished having kids) and the girls did pop out a few times. It wasnt a very supportive or concealing top as it's been retired from my wardrobe and relegated to the pajama drawer. 😳

I am absolutely mortified and want to find a way to apologise, but the note was anonymous!

DH fell about laughing and said that I have every right to dress how I wish in my own home and if they don't like looking at me they have every right to look away.

Thing is though, I'm now thinking of all the times I've wandered around naked after a shower waiting for cream to soak in or fake tan to dry! I've never thought twice about it!

I am quite cautious about being naked in my house as our bedroom is at the back and our 2 immediate neighbours are both retired. One spends a lot of time in the garden (and seems fairly harmless) the other one is chauvenist, inappropriate and pervy quite nosey and im sure would comment in person if he saw anything
I have fried eggs though so there wouldnt be an awful lot to see...although being small of tit often has the gapey problem where you can see straight down a top if there isn't enough to fill it!!

I would honestly draw a pair of cartoon boobs and stick them on the window to show how much you don't care about their complaint.

Your houses must be very close together.

You and your DH could wear these - or hang some in your window.

Or put a plate of these in the window (although this might be a bit too subtle for the voyeurs).

I meant you could clean fully dressed but wear the fake boobs over your clothes.

If they had sent a note saying something like "Just wanted to make you aware that we happened to see you cleaning yesterday, including your wardrobe malfunctions. We weren't sure if you were aware you were visible from other flats so thought we'd mention it to avoid further embarrassment" then I could see it as them trying to give you a heads up that people can see into your flat in case you weren't aware you were visible but the judgement of their actual note shows they dgaf about that and just want to try and police your attire. I live in a first floor flat and I frequently have to remind myself that just because I'm not at street level I am still visible to people walking by - especially when lights are on at night and I am near the windows.

Morning all, DH and I have decided to go with the suggestion to pop a pic of some cartoon boobs in the back window. Childish but fun! I'm gonna write the word "oops!" Underneath.

The naysayers will be pleased to know I have a bra on today 😆
