Me and my OH has a disagreement about this because of COVID, pre covid this wouldn’t have even been a discussion, he would have been welcome to use our toilet! wondering who is in the wrong!

How come some people still think anti bac stuff works on covid which is a virus......?!

maddy68 · 28/07/2020 10:51

Let him use the toilet and I'd your worries wipe down afterwards

KaptainKaveman · 28/07/2020 10:54

Male urine is an effective fox deterrent. It's true.

KaptainKaveman · 28/07/2020 10:54

Every so often I get dh to piddle in ours and we are fox free.

Stannisbaratheonsboxofmatches · 28/07/2020 10:55

You need to let him use it.

crosstalk · 28/07/2020 11:02

Interesting everyone thinks OP's gardener is male (though she hasn't contradicted anyone).

At the start of the pandemic, I wondered this. But some anti-bac stuff has a level of alcohol that will kill viruses. Or the OP could use a bleach spray.

Closing the lavatory lid before flushing is one of the main ways to stop the airborne aspect of the C-19 virus.

Actually, it's something we should all do every time we use a lavatory, but most people are very lax about it.

She says he in the op

Just let him use the toilet. You are being very unreasonable and inhospitable if you don’t.

Because as we have known since March anti-bac that is high alcohol kills the virus.

Maybe.

InTheWings · 28/07/2020 20:33

I went for a 3 hour walk through the woods today with no toilet near and waited until I got home to wee

Why in earth did you not go behind a bush?

WorriedMummy2020 · 28/07/2020 21:52

InTheWings high alcohol level antibacterial hand gel is one thing. I can't think of a commonly used household cleaner that is high alcohol and antibacterial though. Bleach and Milton kill Covid. Soap and water does too. Most antibacterial wipes and sprays don't as far as I know. It's an important distinction to be aware of that's all.

WorriedMummy2020 · 28/07/2020 21:52

InTheWings absolutely, I would go in the bushes if I needed to!
