Okay, here goes...
I like that he seems to be the only one with sense when it comes to protecting sex safe spaces and not allowing self ID
I never agreed with the badger cull and I am really pleased that he has pulled the plug on it.
My mum lives in a so called ‘deprived’ area and he has pledged a lot of money to regenerate her area which I like as it needs it, I am hopeful that he will keep his promise to improve poorer areas of the UK.
He has kept the winter fuel payment, pensions triple lock and bus pass which I agree with.
Some good plans for the environment like restoring peatland and planting more trees in the pipeline
On coronavirus, I think the government acted on the advice of scientific advisors.
I think that as a new, novel virus no one really knows the best way of dealing with it, some countries, Norway I think is one but I may be thinking of somewhere else, hasn’t done lockdown and their numbers are relatively low compared to other countries that have locked down.
I was surprised and impressed at the decision to furlough though I think it should have been offered only to smaller businesses.
No ones perfect and yes there are things I definately don’t agree with; I am very much anti Brexit and think it’ll be a disaster, the view of government, no, the view of a lot of the UK when it comes to immigrants/foreigners is awful to me, I despise the points based system and was disgusted to hear Priti Patel talking about training ‘our own’ care staff but overall, yes he has done/doing a lot better than I expected him to.
