If it was 30 degrees C in the shade, in Spain and really good tomatoes yes, it's perfect.

Otherwise, no, it's revolting.

Highly allergic to tomatoes so not high on my list of foods to try!

I'm a rebel, I stick it in the microwave before eating it. Much nicer.

Not particularly fond of any tomato soup

I had it in a restaurant in Portugal on a hot day. It was one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten.

We went back to the same restaurant two years later especially so I could have the gazpacho again but it wasn't on the menu that week. I was gutted.

Love it. Especially home made from home grown tomatoes at the end of a long hot summer, eaten in the garden under the pergola.

Absolutely love it but only on hot hot days and really only in Spain.
Not fond of those with too much green pepper or too little vinegar.
Nothing like it to refresh and rehydrate you in the heat.
Also love white gazpacho but not as much.

I loath all cold soups. Gazpacho isn't the worst. Vicysoisse is the worst (much beloved by my mother). There was this cold lettuce soup dh's aunt made once ... god that was truly awful.
