I understand her being disappointed, but to call the sonographer a stupid bitch and then have an entire news article about the disappointment is absurd. She’s being really unreasonable and has her priorities all wrong.

I too understand her disappointment but she definitely could have handled it better and has shown herself up to be a bit of a self obsessed drama queen.

This is local to me, have you seen the comments online? Poor women coming on to say that their scan was truly ruined as there was no foetal heartbeat, and this stupid twat is wittering on about pink or blue.

The whole concept of gender reveal parties make me cringe, but pardon my ignorance I thought it was all about revealing the gender to family and guests, not the expectant couple.

Must be something in the Bristol air at the moment, this eejit and his partner took their tiny newborn to Asda, then complained the baby change was closed, so changed her on a urine soaked floor.

It is indeed the point @SnickettyLemon but as a gender reveal scan (yuck) would have broken lock down rules this was a "health" scan. Although I'll be fucked sideways if the people working at window to the womb are qualified sonographers I'm sure.

Topping off this ridiculous story is the inappropriate use of the word “devastated”. It’s meant to be one of the most powerful and descriptive words we have, and its completely out of context with this total non-event.

Stupid woman should be greatful she has a healthy baby. I'm fed up of these "gender reveals" they are tacky, grabby and in poor taste. That poor sonographer did not deserve the abuse she probably got. I'm glad that woman's party was ruined.

I would have been disappointed but I wouldn’t have kicked off and DEFINITELY wouldn’t have gone to the papers.
