To ask for your favourite places in the uk (without making you miss them even more right now!)

Probably a crazy idea but planning for the long term that when this is all over and we are back to normal we are hoping to do a tour of the UK with our children. We’ve spent a lot of time in Cornwall and Dorset but want our children to see more of the lovely country that we live in.
Can I have some tips for some great places to visit and perhaps some hidden gems! Anywhere in the UK!

Love London, specifically the Brook Green area as it feels more like a small town than a big city! Edinburgh is another firm favourite as well as St Andrews. Have family in the Cotswolds and love staying there with them.

Love London. Have to have my London fix a few times a year. Most of Kent. Hence username.

York Minster, my absolute favourite place. Also love Liverpool and the Lake District.

York. Elterwater in the lake district. Padstow. New Forest

Aberystwyth, Norwich, York, St Albans, Whitstable and the Lake District.

Bamburgh beach. Amazing walk to blow the cobwebs away

Shropshire, especially Carding Mill Valley and The Long Mynd. Durham. Most of Scotland (does that give you enough scope? ).

London, York and Glasgow west end (in that order) was due to go to all 3 between half term and summer so now craving a weekend away to even one of them

Loved Northumberland - Holy Island, Farne Islands, Hadriens Wall, some amazing beaches such as Bamburgh & lots of castles!

Dartmoor is one of my very favourite places.

Never been to North Wales but would love to.

Cities - London, Edinburgh, York

North York’s coast. The walk from Staithes to Runswick Bay. So beautiful, like the edge of the world.

The Isle of Wight, I just love it!

The Lynn Peninsula, North Wales. The Farne islands

Ealing, London.
Maldon, Essex.

I miss them both terribly!

Belfast and the north Antrim coast. Beautiful, fab for kids and families, friendly people, and everything costs a lot less than in England.

Wells Somerset, it just feels so amazing there. The whole area is lovely too, I wish I was there.

Miss London, used to pop up town once a month. Miss Camden and walking on the South Bank.

Miss Rye.

Miss Wells next the Sea...

Oh and the new forest, and London and Edinburgh. I want to do a UK tour now too!

i mostly just miss London and being able to come and go as I please. To cafes, art galleries, shops, parks.

And visiting my really good friend in Whistable. I miss her too. and that.
