Hello, my friend is a nurse. She told me that she is questioning the deaths which are being recorded as Coronavirus. She said that she had a patient dying of Cancer, but it was recorded as Coronavirus

I saw another nurse here on mumsnet say the same thing. She said that she had a patient that was dying of cancer, but they recorded it as Coronavirus.

What do you think?

Are you now talking about in general or about lockdown? That's the thing with conspiracy theorists, lots of lurching from point to point. Lots of people have queried the lockdown at various levels. There is never an "everyone".

For what it's worth I reckon the death toll is about to rocket up once thy start properly including care homes.

My mum manages a care home and has just recovered from the coronavirus (thank goodness) unfortunately not all irf her residents or colleagues have. They still can't get access to PPE. This is going to get way worse I fear

I really worry about my mum getting ill again and what all this is going to do to the staff in these places.

I know an elderly lady who had been 'dying' for many months, she got the virus and died quite quickly; the death is being treated as a Covid death. Whilst it is sad of course, she was dying from a multitude of other things for a long time, so I agree that there will definitely be some deaths which are skewing the already skewed data even further.

OP you are, really irresponsibility, talking complete bollocks here. Covid-19 is sadly a very real threat, that is killing many many people before there time, so do what you are being advised to do to keep safe and stop spreading nonsense dressed up as fact. And btw, you won’t find many HCP’s within the NHS ‘blindly believe the government’, quite the opposite, instead they base their views on facts rather than nonsense, you should try it.

It seems the UK and Ireland are purposely keeping the number of deaths published low by only counting hospital deaths. I can't see why you believe the doctor would forge a few death certs to bump numbers when the aim appears to be keeping them down.
