Hello, Advice please, but she is doing my head in.

I have already reported this neighbour to the police last Monday as she has had her family round, her boyfriend who doesn't live with her and now for the last week her friend is round her house everyday using the her gym in the garage. shes not hiding anything either its in full view of other people walking past and other neighbours.

Do I report her again to the police?

I would hate to think my neighbour was sat spying on me all day it would creep me out!
Yes it’s frustrating when you’re following the rules and she isn't but you’ve already reported her to the police and contacting her employer would be a very vindictive thing to do.
Just stop watching her if it’s winding you up so much, find something else to do.

HaudYerWheeshtYaWeeBellend · 21/04/2020 14:36

No one knew your disability OP (which is also irrelevant to this thread) and also no one is bullying you, people have disagreed and due to this you’ve taken it personally Confused

I get that your worried but all you are seeing is a snapshot of this neighbours life you have no idea of her circumstances.

You’ve reported her, let the police decide (if any) to take further action, can I remind you that the restrictions are a guideline and not a law, so police cannot force or detain anyone not following the guidelines unless they are actually causing serious harm to themselves and others.

Everyone is worried, it’s a worrying world we live in, I’d be more worried about the thousands of people coming into the U.K not being tested and not being asked to be in quarantine, than this one neighbour.

Her job doesn’t matter also, plenty of key workers having to work with no PPR equipment, I’d be worried about that more than this one neighbour.

myusernamewastakenbyme · 21/04/2020 16:18

I also cannot see any point in stressing over what others are doing....you can't control other peoples actions so save yourself the stress and worry and just concentrate on yourself and your loved ones.

Seetheprettysnowdrops · 21/04/2020 16:40

So many** idiots on this thread.

I hate snitches and tattletales. Get a life. Is this what Mn has become?

OP I get your frustration. I'm not sure I would report it personally but understand where you're coming from.

Lockdown fatigue. Just as predicted

Seetheprettysnowdrops · 21/04/2020 16:41

Bold fail
That was a PPs super intelligent comment I was trying to quote

Seetheprettysnowdrops · 21/04/2020 16:41

I give up

LagunaBubbles · 22/04/2020 19:20

Saw this and thought it was appropriate for all the people yelling snitch on this thread.

Thank you for sharing that, @LagunaBubbles I think some posters will never wake up to the actual situation with COVID-19 and the seriousness of it. I hate the terms 'snitch' or 'grass' anyway, as a former victim of bullying at school but never more than now during the lockdown. Especially with the numbers of people who are dying of this virus, and a lot of others who are really unwell (thankfully I'm not as bad as some, as I haven't had to go to hospital, but it's been bad enough.

Although, having said that, I think the OP needs to stop obsessing about her neighbour. She's made a report so, for the sake of her own mental health, she should find something else to think about.

Only the first?

It could happen in any profession, so I'm not sure what relevance this has.

RufustheLanglovingreindeer · 22/04/2020 19:54

This smacks of using someones death to point score

I don’t think it’s appropriate at all

circusintown · 22/04/2020 19:57

"Only the first?"

Not the first person to die in prison. And not the first member of staff is more accurate.

But then that wouldn't be a print worthy headline Sad

Dieu

Its because its a prison officer, ironic it came up on my newsfeed when so many people on this thread seem to think what the prison officer the OP is referring to doing is OK and not report worthy eh.

LagunaBubbles · 22/04/2020 20:58

Christ alive. What are you all doing to do when the restrictions are eased? In a few weeks

You think the restrictions are going to be lifted in a few weeks then? Hmm

LagunaBubbles · 22/04/2020 21:03

I don’t think it’s appropriate at all

Point score? I will tell you @RufustheLanglovingreindeer what is not appropriate, watching people die day in day out at work because selfish fuckwits aren't following the guidelines. Fucking point score?!! I'm a Nurse, I don't need to point score on an Internet forum I need people to start following the guidelines and stop being so bloody selfish and risking me and my colleagues lives doing our jobs. Can you tell I'm angry? Stupid point scoring. People are DYING, are some people so stupid they still don't realise this??

RufustheLanglovingreindeer · 22/04/2020 21:05

People are DYING, are some people so stupid they still don't realise this??

Everyone Realises this

Thousands upon thousands

LagunaBubbles · 22/04/2020 21:08

I don't think they do otherwise there wouldn't be this "oh you're a dirty big snitch" attitude on these threads to reporting clear breeches of the guidelines. This is helping the virus spread.

LagunaBubbles · 22/04/2020 21:09

The alternative is people realise and just don't care because the virus hasn't personally affected them yet.

RufustheLanglovingreindeer · 22/04/2020 21:09

No, I wasn’t Clear...at all

Everyone realises people are dying

Thousands and thousands of people are dying

LagunaBubbles · 22/04/2020 21:10

So people just don't care then. Selfish.

RufustheLanglovingreindeer · 22/04/2020 21:13

People who do the snitches bit are just being childish

And there always going to be people like that

RufustheLanglovingreindeer · 22/04/2020 21:13

*So people just don't care then.

Most people care

Some people are stupid

LagunaBubbles · 22/04/2020 21:13

What do you mean "people who do the snitches bit"?

RufustheLanglovingreindeer · 22/04/2020 21:14

People who do the dirty big snitch bit

LagunaBubbles · 22/04/2020 21:14

It feels as if people don't care, that's all, reading comments on here sometimes. And then are hypocritical going out clapping us all.
