Spoons then forks then knives

In your cutlery drawer, do you have spoons on the left, then forks, then knives? That makes sense to me because when you lay them out on the table it's forks on left and knives on the right. My DH puts them away (wrong) as knives on left then forks then spoons, just because he says it sounds right- when you say, 'knives, forks, spoons.'
I'm fully aware of the current world problems which are affecting us all terribly. This is still important😉

My logic is the same as yours. We are in the right. Everyone else is wrong, clearly.

This is how I have mine.

I used to set tables for fancy functions from the age of 15. Forks are to be used with the left hand and spoons and knives with the right hand. So logically in a drawer, forks should be on the left and then knives and spoons on the right.

Dh thinks ira hilariousnthat I cant cope with soup spoons being in with normal spoons. They are just wrong shape to be mixed!!!!

Mine are all over the place cos 4 year old D's likes to 'help' unload the dishwasher. I no longer even remember where they used to go.

Have some compassion for those of us who suffer with shitty Howden's cabinets with their stupid arse drawers that only allow a standard cutlery tray in sideways as long as you saw the long tray off.

Big spoons at the back.

Forks, knives, spoons with tea spoons at the bottom all facing the same way (to the left) is the only way for my cutlery drawer.

Yes, I have ocd. Any other way desperately upset me before cbt, and I have messed it up and tried different arrangements but I found it too annoying so went back to my correct way 😂

Spoons, forks, knives, steak knives. But that's because the knife slot is the biggest and is on the right so forks go next to the knives.

Oh and teaspoons at the top facing right because I'm a leftie :)

Mine is laid out like yours but I prefer spoons, forks then knives on a left to right basis. I was overruled by my dp because I got everything else how I wanted it

I have literally never thought about this - they are just in separate compartments. As it happens, ours go L-R knives, forks, spoons - does that means I've done it subconsciously?

Mine goes fork spoon knife from left to right. The middle one is the only slot the spoons will fit in for some reason

Knives, forks, spoons. We are all right handed. There are only four of us so only one hand is needed to carry all the cutlery to the table, pick it out with right hand, place in left hand, walk to table and use right hand to place cutlery.
