Spoons then forks then knives

In your cutlery drawer, do you have spoons on the left, then forks, then knives? That makes sense to me because when you lay them out on the table it's forks on left and knives on the right. My DH puts them away (wrong) as knives on left then forks then spoons, just because he says it sounds right- when you say, 'knives, forks, spoons.'
I'm fully aware of the current world problems which are affecting us all terribly. This is still important😉

Why on earth would knives OR spoons go on the left??! (Unless you're left handed, then there's a case for it).

Definitely forks, knives, spoons. So the forks and knives are the same way round they are when laid on the table and spoons are last as they are mostly for pudding.

Invoices have to go in the middle, it's more symmetrical, spoons and forks are top heavy, if you put them next to reach other and knives to one side it looks lop sided, I have no preference between forks and spoons, left or right but knives must go in the middle. Teaspoons above , toddler cutlery the one at the very top, randoms in the larger slot on the right, garlic press, can opener, corn handles, melon baller etc

i have diagnosed OCD and have a tic where i have to name the cutlery as i put it away. i am sometimes to be found chuntering away knife knife fork spoon fork little spoon spoon knife etc

I don't have diagnosed OCD, but I do many things like this.

L-R: Forks, spoons, knives. The knife compartment is longer for a reason.

Left to right I have knives, forks, spoons but I have never thought about it and have no idea why.

My drawer has different sized slots, going diagonally up in size, so the knives have to be to the right as they are tallest. I do spoons forks knives, then sharp knives. Teaspoons go horizontally across the top of the spoon/fork/knife section.
