Intensive care at the crossroads of life and death, 3 days later suited and booted and giving speeches. Fishy or what?

is the David Icke forum closed or something? We've had a lot of these conspiracy nuts recently.

Mittens030869 · 14/04/2020 15:07

That should have said, it will take at least as long for him to recover and probably longer than that. I'm not there yet and I didn't even need the ICU care he needed

I think the lie was saying he had 'mild symptoms'. He looked very unwell when he clapped the NHS.

He named the nurses that he credits with saving his life... unless they’re “in on it” aswell of course? Hmm

MaxNormal · 14/04/2020 15:08

The editor of the Economist concurs with you OP, in fact "something fishy" was the term used, although it subsequently got deleted.
He's certainly the wellest person just out of ICU that I've ever seen.

MockersxxxxxxxSocialDistancing · 14/04/2020 15:11

May is not far away when we shall have to go begging bowl in hand back to the EU for an extension to the extension of the extension.

It will be interesting to see how BJ's health is for that.

MrsMoastyToasty · 14/04/2020 15:11

Last week one of our local residents was in a medically induced coma after contracting coronavirus. This week she is up and about (although still in hospital).
Your problem is?

Fatasfooook · 14/04/2020 15:12

I don’t think it’s unreasonable to doubt the word of a liar. Nor is it “conspiracy theory crazy” to question the current UK government and the methods used to cover up their incompetence

We can only hope. It's getting ridiculous now. Never thought I would say this, but poor Boris.

DH and i speculated as to whether there were tartan pjs on the bottom half...

Hingeandbracket · 14/04/2020 15:16

I really really don't approve of Boris, his party, or his politics but this thread is just wank.

ShouldWeChangeTheBulb · 14/04/2020 15:17

I love how conspiracy nuts think everyone else are the naive idiots when they just read some crap from David Ike and believe it without any evidence what’s so ever.

CuriousaboutSamphire · 14/04/2020 15:17

Why?

Just why?

Some of you are fucking deranged!

Mamamia456 · 14/04/2020 15:19

Fatas - Do you think the nurses are in on it as well?

pilates · 14/04/2020 15:19

God there’s some sick people starting spiteful threads on here, fed up with it 😡

CendrillonSings · 14/04/2020 15:20

MockersxxxxxxxSocialDistancing

Still pushing your conspiracy theories, eh? How’s the 9/11 trutherism coming along?

Enchantmentz · 14/04/2020 15:20

I don't get what is fishy, he was clearly unwell before admission. Possibly going into hospital was done before he deteriorated further and needed more care unike the rest of the population. So in that sense it was preferential treatment but he is the PM so I am not fussed. Sure he has cocked up this situation at various points but I very much doubt he would invent an illness just to cop out of it, he could have done much worse imo.

One of my friends told me he suddenly felt unwell on a sunday and was in ITU by tuesday knocked out by Wednesday on a ventilator. Not for very long, df is now in hospital not in itu waiting to be discharged by the end of the week. He is a healthy and fit 40 something. Just shows the illness does not work in a linear way.

I kind of hope there were Grin

Jupiter202020201 · 14/04/2020 15:23

He was visibly emotional and seemed exhausted to me. Some people seem disappointed in the fact that it’s genuine as it doesn’t fit their conspiracy narrative. Yes - prime ministers do get ill and shockingly they can recover without it being an evil master plan involving 5G and the bringing down of democracy and life as we know it...

YouTheCat · 14/04/2020 15:26

He probably did have the virus, what with all the showing off shaking hands in the weeks prior.

I suspect that had he been a member of the general public he would have got no where near ICU and would have been told to medicate himself at home. I'd imagine he does feel physically shite and don't think him doing a short piece on camera proves anything.

CendrillonSings · 14/04/2020 15:28

I have a theory too - that you’d have to be a piece of shit to accuse someone who was critically ill in ICU of faking it.

I suspect my theory will get a lot more support than the conspiracy theory will Smile

BlueJava · 14/04/2020 15:28

Of course he had the virus - just take a look at his face in his video tweets and when he came out to clap for the NHS. You can't fake that - and why would he fake it anyway? You may not like what he does, but he does put the graft in and I don't believe he'd try and duck off - stop projecting.

Inkpaperstars · 14/04/2020 15:30

@VivienScott

Intersting. Do you really think Boris may well have been on ECMO?
