What do you wish you'd done before lockdown kicked in?

  1. taken my dog to the groomer - he's like a walking cloud Grin
  1. bought more Primark 'cosy leggings' for my youngest. She has a few sensory issues with clothing, and lives in these. Typically, they've gone all holey since lockdown, and I'm not sure sewing that fabric would work.

What about you?

Been to the hairdresser. I’m about due now and wish I’d gone earlier. I’m going to look a right state by the time they reopen!

Bigjobbiewheecker · 07/04/2020 22:21

Bought paint

Lynda07 · 07/04/2020 22:21

Had new fence fixed.

GoodnessSake · 07/04/2020 22:22

Bought a load of home decorating stuff. Kept saying I would get round to it, loads of time now, but no supplies!

Dieu · 07/04/2020 22:22

@Paintforkitchen

Yup, I'm getting a bit grey. Not helped by the homeschooling!

Been to the optician and dentist. Been putting them off for ages and then when I'd finally geared myself up to go, this happened. - - will never procrastinate again--

hopeishere · 07/04/2020 22:22

Got my hair cut. It's a mess.

StrawberryBlondeStar · 07/04/2020 22:23

Got my DS haircut. Already looking yeti like. Will be getting the bowl and scissors out.

Willow2017 · 07/04/2020 22:23

Take the recycling to the skip! Going to look like an alcoholic even though there are empty juice bottles and some jars there too.

Neolara · 07/04/2020 22:23

Had a haircut

Silversun83 · 07/04/2020 22:23

Cross out fail 🤦‍♀️

MrsMGE · 07/04/2020 22:23

Gone on holiday (well that would be before the pandemic, not the lockdown)!

NaughtyLittleElf · 07/04/2020 22:23

Definitely would have had my hair coloured, I managed to squeeze in a nail appointment the day before they closed but my hair already looks awful.

EveryDayIsADuvetDay · 07/04/2020 22:24

Do any supermarkets sell anything similar to the primark ones? (or anywhere that's selling online)

I wish I'd gone on holiday (UK), I ummed an ahed about which week to book,; if I'd gone for a week earlier.

On the grooming front, I did get my hair cut the week before, so some pluses.

snowegg · 07/04/2020 22:24

Hairdresser. All day long.

Comefromaway · 07/04/2020 22:25

Taken Ds to the barber

Hired a removal van to move my sofa to our new house

Bought more tea towels (no washing machine in the new house)

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 07/04/2020 22:25

Bought some new plants for the garden. Got new summer sandals for the DC. Got the security tag removed for the new dress I bought and later realised I can't wear. Hmm

OhhhPeee · 07/04/2020 22:25

Been to the tip, got loads of gardening/decorating stuff/self-assembly furniture to keep busy with the house and garden.

Or bought 10 million toilet rolls to sell on eBay.

Dieu · 07/04/2020 22:25

@Silversun83

God, yeah. I really wish I'd seen the hygienist. No matter what I do, I get plaque build-up behind my teeth.
Has anyone tried scraping this away themselves, or is this not to be advised?!

Haircuts for the whole family
Plants for the garden
Got DD's glasses fixed (luckily she has spares but is sulking that she can't wear her preferred pair)
Seen my mum

Iamamoleinthegarden · 07/04/2020 22:26

Put a home office in the garden.

giftponderings · 07/04/2020 22:26

I'm sure Primark sold online now, on Amazon?? Or did I dream that?

expatinspain · 07/04/2020 22:27

Had a bikini wax, got my hair dyed, bought some baking equipment, bought plenty of arts & crafts equipment and bought some paint.

Egghead68 · 07/04/2020 22:27

Got my will signed.

Upgraded my phone.

LakieLady · 07/04/2020 22:27

Had a pedicure.
