Neighbor has visitors and a Bbq on the go

She bloody works for the NHS as well!
What the hell is wrong with some people?!?

The visitors are her sister, sisters DH and nephew. They seemed to be doing things in her garden, now she's lit up a Bbq.

I know there are morons still doing this but I would have thought an NHS worker would know better.

She seems visibly miffed that DS is in the garden splashing about in his water toy making a fair bit of noise. Keeps glaring at him.

I don't know whether to say something or just silently seethe. Am I being a total arse being so angry? I appreciate all of the hard work NHS workers do and stress they must be going through right now but surely they aren't above the rules?

Of course NHS workers aren't above the rules.

Needingsupportplease · 05/04/2020 13:11

Its idiots like that who are going to force us into a complete lockdown. Ring 101 and report her.

HasaDigaEebowai · 05/04/2020 13:12

Report

Shouldershrugger · 05/04/2020 13:13

Report them. If anything they should know better.

WitsEnding · 05/04/2020 13:15

Report before we all get kept in. These people need to be fined at a level that stings.

Jeezoh · 05/04/2020 13:16

I’d report her, what an utter moron

P1nkHeartLovesCake · 05/04/2020 13:18

Next time she looks as your DS for making noise, I’d have to say “lockdown rules changed have they Sarah, What with all your visitors today”

HermanTheWorm · 05/04/2020 13:18

My NHS front line worker friend has this week contracted the virus. He's not the first of my friends to catch it and have it confirmed. I find it unbelievable that any NHS or keyworker would right now flaunt the rules. One of my keyworker partner's colleagues is in hospital with it. We miss our friends and family but for god's sake, there are more important things...

Tiddlytubbies · 05/04/2020 13:20

There's an NHS nurse who lives across the road from me with her husband who is also a key worker, their daughter who also works for the NHS visits quite frequently with her 2 young kids! Really starting to piss me off! Report them! Can I please add I'm sure the vast majority of people and NHS staff are adhering to the rules.

UncleHerbie · 05/04/2020 13:20

Do it

amijustparanoidorjuststoned · 05/04/2020 13:23

This is the first thread from a disgruntled neighbour that I actually agree with.

OP. If you don't want to report them, I will. I cannot BELIEVE the audacity of some people - NHS workers of all people - who think the rules don't apply to them!!

GinDrinker00 · 05/04/2020 13:24

Report them now.

donquixotedelamancha · 05/04/2020 13:24

OP, do you own a hosepipe?

Wonkydonkey44 · 05/04/2020 13:26

Please report it , you can report it to your local police on a form online

Figgygal · 05/04/2020 13:27

Tell her she’s a bloody idiot
And report her

GiveMeAllTheGin8 · 05/04/2020 13:29

Report

Menopauseandteensdontmix100 · 05/04/2020 13:31

Don’t tell her anything just report her.
My dad is in hospital with this i think he probably caught it from one of his carers poor soul. I haven't seen him for weeks and cant visit him in hospital and idiots behaving like this.

RibenaMonsoon · 05/04/2020 13:33

Thank you all. Reported online. That was pretty straight forward to do.
Part of me feels bad as she's NHS and probably working very hard when she's not at home but that's no excuse to put others at risk.

OP posts:
Daisiest · 05/04/2020 13:33

If she looks at your DS again say is him playing in isolation a problem? What with you being unable to follow the rules yourself?

Tesbel · 05/04/2020 13:37

You just can't fix stupid... glad you reported it though, well done 💯

RibenaMonsoon · 05/04/2020 13:37

Thank you @Daisiest that was perfectly put. I'll say that next time she glares over.

Comefromaway · 05/04/2020 13:39

Dh’s Aunt, who has an adult daughter at home on kidney dialysis went hospital visiting (before the hospital banned visitors) and is out and about shopping and meeting friends every day.

Absolutely mad.

Thighmageddon · 05/04/2020 13:40

Who did you report it to. op? Is it on 101 online?

HaveAtEm · 05/04/2020 13:40

Make yourself and DS a homemade face mask like this one...and go outside wearing it is saying loudly 'just making sure we are safe from any random 🦠!'

(Your neighbour is an idiot 🤬)

Neighbor has visitors and a Bbq on the go
HaveAtEm · 05/04/2020 13:41
