Hugging my 80 yr old mother.

My wedding. We’ve had to call it off today...

Seeing people again. Walking outside... I haven’t been able to do that much as it’s still manic here.

Fcukthisshit · 21/03/2020 21:53

Living without the worry about what tomorrow will bring. I don’t suffer with anxiety but I literally feel sick all the time.

Teacup34 · 21/03/2020 21:53

The children going back to school 😉.

Outtedagain · 21/03/2020 21:53

Not worrying about catching it. Seeing my family and friends.

SavageBeauty73 · 21/03/2020 21:53

Hugging my parents. I'm 46 and miss them dreadfully.

Tothemoonandbackx · 21/03/2020 21:54

Honestly, not having to hear the word Corona for at least a day 🙈 Xxxx

SlipSlidin · 21/03/2020 21:54

You’re all amazing everything will be ok xx

I agree @ Fcukthisshit
Feel awful inner turmoil, not usually a worrier.

Fcukthisshit · 21/03/2020 21:55

@ShellsAndSunrises that’s really harsh. I bet you’re so disappointed Flowers I hope your new day comes around quickly and is amazing x

bengalcat · 21/03/2020 21:55

Going to the gym

Flowersmakemyday · 21/03/2020 21:55

ShellsAndSunrises, so sorry your wedding has had to be called off. I'm looking forward to being able to pop into my elderly neighbours and have a g&t with her .

IAmWineWineIsMe · 21/03/2020 21:55

Yup hugging 79 year old Mum as well as my elderly aunts and uncles, we are a close family. FaceTime doesn't cut it but we will do what we have to do so we can hug them when this is over

Shangrilalala · 21/03/2020 21:56

My NHS husband having a relaxing day off and being able to manage some restful sleep when not at work.

SlipSlidin · 21/03/2020 21:56

So sorry for everyone with significant events they’ve had to postpone xx

DobbyLovesSocks · 21/03/2020 21:57

Being able to see my mum in person.
Being able to walk into work (hospital) without taking a deep breath and mentally bracing myself

WifOfBif · 21/03/2020 21:58

Seeing my mum.

ChanklyBore · 21/03/2020 21:58

Getting my business back on track. I’ve lost nearly everything this week.

Silver lining, my parents died when I was teen/early twenties so I don’t have anyone close to worry about anyone in the especially risky age group.

SlipSlidin · 21/03/2020 21:58

Thanks to all our key workers in this difficult time. You are best of us xx

OP posts:
OhioOhioOhio · 21/03/2020 21:58

Being able to see my family.

WoollyFoolly · 21/03/2020 21:58

I've got one more day in self-isolation then I can hug my children. Can't wait.
When the whole thing is over, I hope we don't take things for granted. We have such freedom and such abundance.

Sux2buthen · 21/03/2020 22:00

Serious note, seeing my family. All older and vulnerable.

Less seriously. Ordering from Tesco and feeling put out that I can only get next day instead of same day Grin

Having our normal daily routine

Popping to the shop without even a second thought

Not having to wash my hands anymore

TiptopJ · 21/03/2020 22:00

My world feeling safe again. Whilst I think this this will teach me to live a bit more I'm actually really looking forward to the mundane. Going to see my mum, going into town, taking a drive, sneezing, coughing without worry. I think I'll be most grateful for that again
