Going to visit my mum

pitlochrypat · 22/03/2020 16:44

An amazing holiday next year as we will have double the budget to spend due to not having booked a holiday for this year in case it was cancelled.

RedDiamond · 22/03/2020 16:48

Selling up and moving to the Greek islands. I have decided life is too short to keep dreaming about it .

WeirdCatLady · 22/03/2020 17:07

Going outside. Dd is vulnerable so the whole family is wfh and staying in. I haven’t been further than my back garden for two weeks already.

Birdshitbridgegotme · 22/03/2020 17:31

Sitting in a pub garden in the sun

FilthyforFirth · 22/03/2020 17:33

Going on our mega holiday that we have spent years saving for which had to be cancelled. I literally cannot wait to be on holiday. I really hope we are able to by the end of the year.

QuestionableMouse · 22/03/2020 17:35

Being able to go out without worrying. I had so much stuff planned that I've had to cancel.

Doggyperson · 22/03/2020 17:36

A holiday. Laying on the beach, walking around without police stopping me. I've just got back from one but I need another to recover from that one!

Astraj · 22/03/2020 17:53

Being able to take my baby girl out and seeing family and friends.

NemophilistRebel · 22/03/2020 19:01

Sounds like if travel industry can weather this storm they will have a lot of incoming bookings for next year once things calm down to allow it

As long as everyone hasn’t been laid off and run out of money themselves

It would be a delight for me to say we will have double the budget for next years holiday but it’s not going to happen for people unless you work for NHS or in service industry

Warsawa31 · 22/03/2020 19:04

We had to postpone my little girls 1st birthday, I booked the day off work and was going to take her to an aquarium with my wife and meet up with all the grandparents and family for a meal and cake for her.
So I can’t wait for that :)

MooseBreath · 22/03/2020 19:44

My mom coming to visit from Canada. I'm expecting in late May and I'm so worried my family won't get to meet the baby for months!

Furrydog7 · 22/03/2020 20:24

I am looking forward to seeing my granddad in his care home. I totally understand why the care home is not allowing visitors but letter writing and video chats are just not the same as actually talking to him face to face. I am also looking forward to watching football and going on holiday

Cocoandclive27 · 22/03/2020 20:25

Kids back in school and they haven't even properly started at home yet!

I think little things that we took for granted before will seem so lovely - going swimming, having a coffee with friends, a meal out.

QueenofallIsee · 22/03/2020 20:31

Right now, seeing my children. My DSCs had contact with someone displaying symptoms and we were not advised before their standard access (their Mum is of the mind that it will all be ok i think) My oldest was due back from university (she has a health condition) and my other children were with their father. None can come home until we are out of isolation and I miss them horribly.

allaboardthesinkingship · 22/03/2020 20:42

Buying a house. We were just about to put an offer in. My husbands self employed and I don't earn a very high wage so Wel be living from our house deposit savings for the foreseeable 🤦🏽‍♀️

Mummadeeze · 22/03/2020 20:47

To be able to see my family who all live abroad and to book a really relaxing fun holiday for me and my DD. Also to not lie awake worrying about the what ifs. To have a big night out with my friends.

Rose789 · 22/03/2020 21:31

Hugging my husband. He’s a key worker I’m in isolation for 12 weeks as I’m undergoing cancer treatment. He’s staying at his brothers.
Seeing my 2 girls hugging their daddy.
Not having to hold my 5 year while she cries herself to sleep because she misses her daddy, she misses her friends and she misses cousins who spend 3 days a week here normally.
Seeing my grandma she’s 89 and in a care home on an end of life plan. I hope to god I get to hug her and tell her how much I love her one last time.
💔

NemosPoorlyFinn · 22/03/2020 21:38

My son going back to nursery
He absolutely love the place
It's been so hard to explain to him why he can't go
In a way a three year old would understand
If that's even possible Hmm

Iv also Had to explain that he couldn't go on holiday last Friday too
Which was heartbreaking

ThanosSavedMe · 22/03/2020 21:41

Hugs

BBTHREE76 · 22/03/2020 21:52

Sunday lunch with all our family and friends, and sleeping properly

sassypants72 · 22/03/2020 21:59

Going to Tesco's without it being smash and grab !! My daughter going back to her lovely village school. Being able to go to the gym again.

It feels like life has stopped at the moment

Lifesnotapicnic · 22/03/2020 22:18

Going to beach ❤

minionsrule · 22/03/2020 22:26

To actually go for a slow stroll round the shops. I actually mostly dislike shopping but DH has pretty much banned me going as i get chest and lung infections easily so i am higher risk.
Oh and by the time i am allowed out i will desperately need a haircut 😭
