Going swimming.
Going on a bus.

IVflytrap · 21/03/2020 23:03

Being outside in nature. I'm stuck in a city centre flat with no garden or outside area. I love getting out to the countryside or the coast, but rely on public transport (obviously out of the question now). It's going to be a while before I see some green again.

TotesGodsWill · 21/03/2020 23:05

Being able to travel to see and hug my parents

Being able to do a grocery order and be confident that I’d receive pretty much everything on it

Chatting and bitching with friends in the office

Being back to my standard anxiety instead of permanently extra anxious

Being able to properly start a new job I’ve worked hard for

WrongKindOfFace · 21/03/2020 23:07

Seeing family and friends, getting a proper haircut and colour, going out for a meal, a holiday, freedom!

And having one less thing to worry about.

NoPointInWednesdays · 21/03/2020 23:17

Knowing everything is going to be alright my for dc1’s sake. I’m due when the virus is supposed to “ peak “ and the thought of some of my family either not being here to see them or something going wrong is filling me with complete fear and dread now 😰 I know we will get through this but can’t wait to see some glimmer of light at the end of the very long tunnel.

Stay safe and thanks to all the front line staff for everything your doing x

Weenurse · 21/03/2020 23:17

My Nan. 4 years ttc and ivf and I’m due in 2 weeks. Hoping all is ok I can’t wait for my Nan to be able to snuggle him

Bimbabo · 21/03/2020 23:27

Not being scared saying goodbye to my husband and knowing when he will come home each day. He’s an ICU Doctor. We have a baby now so I’m on mat leave and so sad that we can’t meet up with other baby friends and go to our classes.

Looking forward to meeting a new baby in the family but don’t know when we’ll get to see everyone. They live in Asia.

Also looking forward to a good parking thread! 😉

  1. Hugging mum, family and friends
  2. having a big party to celebrate
itmusthavebeencoffee · 21/03/2020 23:29

Hugging my dad, seeing my partner, watching my little sister graduate, having a job again, going on holiday with my family, going to the cinema and out for dinner with friends, hearing children playing at lunch time in the school behind our house, going food shopping without any worries, the news being full of random stuff again, BBQs in the garden. So much.

user1471453601 · 21/03/2020 23:34

The first thing I will do is get my DD and her partner something lovely to say thankyou. We all live together and you would not believe the lengths they are going to to keep me safe (70 and various health conditions.)

They really are going over and above all requirements to keep me safe. From self isolating, themselves to wiping down door handles and light switches, to cleaning bathroom and kitchen each time they use them. Their efforts are immense.

I truly appreciate them. And I got Jermey Hardy speaks volumes for mothers day. I got it early cos they thought I seemed anxious and could do with a good dose of laughter. They were not wrong.

I'm four pages in,and I'm crying in laughter. Id highly recommend it to anyone feeling a tad anxious

SidsWife · 21/03/2020 23:35

Rainbowb · 21/03/2020 23:40

My daughter’s life going back to normal - seeing her friends, going to school and doing the things she loves. It breaks my heart to see her whole world taken away. I can’t wait to hear people discussing trivial things - sport results, parking fines etc. I can’t wait for the knot of anxiety in my stomach to go.
