Where it be about lizard people, 911 or the Government man-making Coronvirus to kill off the vulnerable, what conspiracy theory sends a chill up your spine?

Sorry if a little dark but I have to admit I love a good conspiracy theory and figured I wouldn't be the only one! Plus I need some bedtime reading...

I'm not into conspiracies but am quite fascinated by the Paul McCartney is Dead rumour and how some still believe it.

I understand the rationale, the Beatles were an unprecedented phenomenon among teenage girls and if one died the emotional fallout could have been huge but after all these years, why would someone not have spilled? And how could they have found an identical replacement at such short notice?

Someone on my Twitter has just tweeted that Covid19 is a conspiracy and that we shouldn't believe everything we're told (unless it comes from him apparently) and that life will never be normal again. Well on that last point he's probably right, but Jesus, Mary and Joseph.

On a more serious note, that Trump is doing fuck all about corona so he has an excuse to cancel the elections and proclaim himself president for life. Maybe not so crazy.

Watched a news clip from the US and they talked about the fact that recently a Chinese politician was put a question about the possibility that coronavirus actually originated in a lab, and he didn't deny it. Now that would be a very topical conspiracy if true - that this is not an accidental virus but either has escaped from a lab or been deliberately released as some sort of chemical warfare.

I thought it DID come from a lab. From a specific company, and they obviously know which one.

I don’t think there is any conspiracy around Coronavirus. Pandemics have happened since the dawn of time, and we were long overdue a big one like this. The last devastating one was 100 years ago, and we’ve been lucky that it’s been that long.

Yup. Perfect timing with millions of extra people travelling around the world to celebrate Chinese New Year. Flu season to mask it and already weaken us. Spring holidays so millions extra traveling. And so on.
The virus could not have timed itself better...

I'm actually not a Beatles fan, but find the fake Paul MCcartney (Faul) a very interesting conspiracy. I remember that my older brother was heavily into the Beatles and I was quite fond of him (must have been all of 7 yrs old!) but when I saw a photo of him on a new album, said to my brother 'that's not Paul!'. Something about him was very different. I only discovered the conspiracy last year!

I hate conspiracy theories, they just sow division. Most things that go wrong are just cockups. I do think Trump will use opportunity to bin an election he might lose though. The politics is all far more frightening.

My mum believes it's all a hoax for the government to make you get another injection... They want you to get injections either for the soft kill method or to control you illuminati style, not sure which.

Some people believe trump released it to ruin whatever countries, others also like my mum, think its part of the plan to divide the world into 10 zones so the illuminati can take it over.

Yeah...and those aren't even the weirdest ones she believes.

Coronavirus: apparently it originated in a lab near a seafood market, not in a seafood market. This claim originated in China. Chinese blog posts which purported to show evidence of this were purportedly blocked. The relatively recent claims from some in China of the virus being a failed US germ warfare experiment were, apparently, possibly pushed to counteract/whitewash this fact (the classic political strategy of accusing your enemy of your own evil faults). Do I believe it? Nah.

So many - JFK and Babushka Woman, the Illuminati, cruise ship deaths covered up. My favourite is that Katy Perry is really JonBenet Ramsay - crazy!

If you watch the early clips of Paul Mc Cartney playing guitar, there’s a huge difference in the way he played guitar before his apparent death and after. He was so good that he never had to look down to see what notes to play. AFTER the “apparent death” he’s nowhere near as confident and is constantly looking down. Not that I’m saying I believe it but this is what the conspirators bring our attention to.
