@SonEtLumiere I’ve never heard of this guy before I found this video, he could be a complete nutter? I don’t know? But I do actually think he makes quite a few interesting points.
Is it worth putting everybody into lockdown, potentially destroying the economy and throwing everybody’s lives into chaos over a disease that 97% of people will survive? In fact that percentage is likely to be even higher given the amount of people that have the disease and have no idea as they have little to no symptoms. I don’t know 🤷♀️ all seems a bit fishy to me.
I’m not saying you shouldn’t be self isolating if you’re elderly, have a compromised immune system or are looking after someone who falls into either of those categories because you absolutely should.
But where is the sense in locking down everybody? I think it will just do more harm than good.
As someone who is young and relatively healthy, I am not afraid of catching the virus myself. I am afraid for the health of elderly members of my family and the community of course, thus the reason I think these people should be distancing themselves from the general public as much as possible. & of course I am being conscious to keep my distance from people and practicing good hand hygiene (as I usually do and everybody should) so as not to potentially pass on anything to people who are more vulnerable to this disease.
What I’m also really worried about is how this whole thing is gonna effect our lives at large and the kind of world we are going to live in when this is all over. Global recession is looking pretty likely, small businesses are already struggling, people are losing jobs and this is only the beginning of all of this. Life as we know it is over now and I for one am shitting myself about what’s next.
Makes no sense to me? I’m not saying I indefinitely believe there is some hidden agenda behind all of this, but I’m keeping an open mind
