Loo rolls

How many loo rolls does a family use a week?
I’ve just had a discussion with a family member who gets through more than 1 a day. I thought that was totally over the top.
For comparison, we use around 2 a week, including visitors which we get most days.

I tend to buy loo rolls when we need them ie a 9 pack a month but how many should we try to keep as ‘backup’ stock so we don’t run out? That is, if there are any in the supermarkets!!

Surely that depends entirely on how many people are in said family.....?

We use about 12 a week. There are 6 of us. I currently only have 20 in the cupboard so I think I’ll tell the dc to use their sleeve when blowing their nose

I get through about 12 a week and there’s two of us. I have inflammatory bowel disease though. Get through around 7 packs of wipes too.

@Mum2jenny - I was going to post this a few days ago!! We go through tonnes! My DH and DS are completely phobic about skid marks and my DS probs uses at least half a roll if he does a poo. He’s blocked the toilet several times. So we are at least 7a week.

Roughly about 1 per day. There’s 4 of us at home.

There’s typically 2 of us and a 4 pack lasts ages but I do buy Andrex puppy ones. However I do know ppl who get through 10 rolls a week for 2 ppl. So I was just interested in typical loo roll usage.

One sheet for a pee, two for a poo ...

4 a week. Only two of us in the house. I buy a 24 pack every month or so.

There's 4 of us and we use probably a roll or two a day (sometimes more!) but I have inflammatory bowel disease, so go more often than a normal person!

The thickness varies between brands, which can make a difference to the amount you use.

At least nine a week but there are six of us, one with bowel issues. Last week we got through 15 and I briefly wondered if they're maybe eating the bloody stuff.

What am I doing wrong??

Around 6 rolls month for 2 of us. We don’t use it for nose blowing though, use balsam tissues only or I get a sore nose!

It also depends if you have IBS or other digestive problems.

Apparently as a nation we use a lot more than other countries.

There are five of us (four of loo roll using age) and I think we only get through about 4 a week...
