Yep it’s revolting!

FirmlyRooted · 02/03/2020 19:01

Yes, YABU I'm afraid

LewisFan · 02/03/2020 19:02

It's not to my taste but I don't find it offensive

Hercwasonaroll · 02/03/2020 19:02

Yeh it's a bit minging.

Far worse than baby wearing which also grinds my gears.

ChessieFL · 02/03/2020 19:02

Yes, it’s awful.

WorraLiberty · 02/03/2020 19:02

It's up there with 'Holli-bobs' for me.

Twee to the point of cringing inside out Grin

Rose789 · 02/03/2020 19:02

Yup it’s grim

Namechangeymcnamechange11 · 02/03/2020 19:02

I don't or wouldn't use it personally but wouldn't take offence against anyone using it 🤷

Sofacat · 02/03/2020 19:02

Horrible!

Frankiecandle · 02/03/2020 19:03

Twee.

Crookshanksthecat · 02/03/2020 19:03

Really awful please stop using it.

Rinoachicken · 02/03/2020 19:04

It’s grim. sounds like the sort of word hormonal teenage boys would come up with snigger over.

fedup21 · 02/03/2020 19:04

It isn’t even a real word! What’s wrong with the word feeding?!

Toybox88 · 02/03/2020 19:04

@WorraLiberty hollibobs Envy

ElderAve · 02/03/2020 19:04

Boobing to me means messing up. As in "I've boobed". I've never heard it used to mean BF and now I think of it, I havent heard it used in the other context in years.

Horehound · 02/03/2020 19:05

Why is it even a word. Breastfeeding seemed retry well descriptive if what's happening. I don't get it

Carrie7469 · 02/03/2020 19:05

It's a horrible expression

Letthemysterybe · 02/03/2020 19:05

It makes me wince. I don’t mind the word boob. Or even ‘give the baby some
Boob’. But you breast feed with your boobs, and you walk with your legs , so it’s feeding and walking not boobing and legging.

WinterCat · 02/03/2020 19:05

I’m not sure how you want the voting to go as your header doesn’t match what you’ve asked in your OP.

I don’t like the term and never use it.

Goodgollymiss · 02/03/2020 19:05

I will actually stop immediately... I'm cringing Blush why didn't anybody tell me!

OP posts:
MilkTwoSugarsThanks · 02/03/2020 19:06

Why can't you just say "feeding"?

Seriously, why do you feel the need to emphasise the fact that you are breast feeding?

xQueenMabx · 02/03/2020 19:06

Yeah, makes me cringe.

Namechangexyz1 · 02/03/2020 19:06

Where did these ridiculous terms come from?!

Boobing, baby wearing, etc

Ffs you feed your baby and carry it in a sling

GordonBennett20 · 02/03/2020 19:07

It's not offensive but yep its very cringey! I've never heard it used as a verb before so if someone told me they were boobing I would genuinely have to ask them what they were on about

roarfeckingroar · 02/03/2020 19:07

Yeah it's cringey and weird
