So I know this has probably been done before but wanted to see what everyone likes again. They don’t necessarily have to be secrets, but maybe things that you wouldn’t let people in RL know except for maybe your dh/partner.

I have an extensive list but will just give a few of my favourites.

Beef & tomato pot noodle sandwich, salt and vinegar crisps with mayonnaise on white bread, ritz crackers with just piccalilli, babybel with piccalilli, salt and vinegar crisps with a little bit of mayonnaise on each individual crisp, and a salt, pepper, jalapeño pepper with mayonnaise sandwich. I do have a lot more things but couldn’t possibly list them all, and that’s just from the top of my head. I don’t eat these things all the time obviously.

Bacon sandwiches where the bread is not buttered, but dipped in the fat/gunk in the bottom of the grill pan.
Any pizza, except hawaiian (which is just wrong), served at room temperature at least 12 hours after it was baked/delivered (AKA Dominos Breakfast).
Totally agree that the Doner Kebab is food of the gods (but with garlic mayo and hot sauce) - this is known as a 'Big Filthy' in our house.
Finally, Digestive biscuits spread with Castello soft blue cheese, topped with red onion chutney. Yum.

Absolutely disgusting, the whole lot of you, filthy lot!

Pedigree dog biscuits Blush

Pukkatea · 27/02/2020 15:30

Rustlers cheeseburger or breakfast muffin

Yes, but no need to be hungover. That breakfast muffin especially is divine.

Oxo cube dust or the bisto best gravy granules eaten just on a spoon.

Toast with lo-salt and black pepper (doesn't work with regular salt for some reason, has to be lo-salt).

Songofsixpence · 27/02/2020 15:31

Those tins of all day breakfast and baked beans. Absolutely love them

I like to get a packet of salt and vinegar crisps and a packet of chocolate buttons and alternate between them

CorianderLord · 27/02/2020 15:42

Potato waffle sandwiches Blush

sunfloweryy · 27/02/2020 16:02

Frey bentos tinned meatballs with bow pasta. Has to be bow. With an enormous spoonful of cream cheese.

Also the cheesy mug shots that you had hot water too.

Oh and I also just sat there dipping crusty bread into a stray dominoes garlic and herb dip that I found and it was bliss.

sunfloweryy · 27/02/2020 16:03

(Found in my house FYI, not on the street)

messolini9 · 27/02/2020 16:09

(Found in my house FYI, not on the street) Grin

Of course not @sunfloweryy.
You're not an animal.

EerieSilence · 27/02/2020 16:10

raisin scones with chocolate spread
salted caramel ice-cream with maple flavour golden syrup and marshmallow fluff
salt and vinegar crisps dipped into barbecue sauce
Isle of Crackers crackers - I could eat whole packets of them, especially the cranberry and sesame seeds ones
Tony's chocolate. The white one with raspberries and popping candy - paradise! Also the toffee and pretzel pieces one. The salted caramel one too.

mrsBtheparker · 27/02/2020 16:25

When they were very small and uncritical my two loved to have 'guzinter', they thought it was quite exotic becaaue none of their friends had heard of it! It was my version of a previously mentioned concoction, whatever was available in the fridge or the back of the freezer.

Nowayorhighway · 27/02/2020 16:30

Garlic naan bread topped with instant noodles and grated cheese. I haven’t had it for a very long time but used to it quite a lot years ago Grin.

It's fascinating for me as a Yank to hear about the lovely junk food that you have that we do not. I want Frazzles!

My guilty secret snack is white cheddar cheese on a pretzel crisp (you'll have to google it Grin).

ASatisfyingThump · 27/02/2020 18:41

Tesco's curry flavour instant noodles on a slice of fried bread. Potato waffle sandwich with salad cream. And cold chips from the local kebab place - they do huge portions and I always get DS2 his own so I can eat them cold later Grin

There was a chicken place where we used to live that was absolutely amazing, I have no idea what they were cooking everything in (and I probably don't want to know) but the chips and onion rings were incredible! It's been taken over by that Peri-Peri chain now Sad

Zisforstripyoss · 27/02/2020 18:44

I eat piccalilli with a spoon. And gherkins and pickled onions by the dozen. And branston pickle. And chutney. Anything of that ilk! Sometimes I get a bit of cheese to put it on, but I'm happy with it on it's own really!

joffreyscoffees · 27/02/2020 18:48

Hot pasta mixed with mayonnnaise and loads of cracked black pepper. DH thinks it's disgusting.

Nogoodnickname · 27/02/2020 18:53

@PrincessHoneysuckle tried the American mustard tonight with our pizza and I absolutely loved it. Think this is going to be my go to dip for pizza from now on.

Those Cafe Noir biscuits - can you still get them? like a Nice biscuit with delicious crackly coffee icing on top - with single cream spread on top. Not that I've done that for years, oh no.

I make my own marmalade, see with my own eyes how much sugar goes into it, and then spend the next week after Marmalade Day standing by the fridge with a sticky jar and a spoon.

Also eat Aldi Korma sauce out of the jar with a teaspoon whenever I make a Child's Bland Curry. Grin

My go-to hangover breakfast used to be supernoodles with Bovril drizzled on top.

Crumpets with Bovril and grated cheddar.

DIY tortilla crisps made with a standard tortilla sandwich wrap, cut up and olive oil and seasoning on, bung in oven. They don't touch the sides.

Toast with cream cheese and Rose's lime marmalade on (I admit I got this from The Secret History but I had to try it and it's amazing).

Yorkshire puddings with golden syrup.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 27/02/2020 19:01

Frozen potato waffles cooked in the toaster; still hot and spread with icy cold Philadelphia. Heaven.

shinyredbus · 27/02/2020 19:02

Porky scratchings. I have one packet almost every night.

Tippytappytoes · 27/02/2020 19:03

Cedar Cheese and Peanut butter sandwiches. Has to be white bread and the cheese on the mature side.

Cheddar Cheese and strawberry jam sandwiches. Again on white, not fussy about the strength.

Chip butty with lots of butter, salt and vinegar.

Egg and cress sandwiches with salt and vinegar crisps inside.

Tippytappytoes · 27/02/2020 19:05

Cedar = cheddar 😳

flissity · 27/02/2020 19:13

Peanut butter and chocolate spread on toast (tastes like a snickers on toast)

Mini cheddars dipped in Mango Chutney.

MrsSnitchnose · 27/02/2020 19:39

Anything that inolves the combination of chocolate and cheese!

On that subject, has anyone else tried the Milka Philadelphia? Never even got put on anything, I ate it with a spoon and felt no shame! Grin
