So I know this has probably been done before but wanted to see what everyone likes again. They don’t necessarily have to be secrets, but maybe things that you wouldn’t let people in RL know except for maybe your dh/partner.

I have an extensive list but will just give a few of my favourites.

Beef & tomato pot noodle sandwich, salt and vinegar crisps with mayonnaise on white bread, ritz crackers with just piccalilli, babybel with piccalilli, salt and vinegar crisps with a little bit of mayonnaise on each individual crisp, and a salt, pepper, jalapeño pepper with mayonnaise sandwich. I do have a lot more things but couldn’t possibly list them all, and that’s just from the top of my head. I don’t eat these things all the time obviously.

@Nogoodnickname it's one of those sandwiches that everyone I mention it to looks at me like I'm being ridiculous but then they try it and never look back. The S&V crisps need to be McCoys type strength in my opinion!

OhWellThatsJustGreat · 26/02/2020 21:45

Sugar sandwiches

White bread
Butter
Lots of sugar

My Dad used to make them for me - my ultimate comfort food.

I haven't had one for years, but now I want one!

LifeIsAPotato · 26/02/2020 21:49

I love mcdonalds chips (heavily salted) dipped in their strawberry milkshakes. Sometimes I'll make a little dough (savory) and nom it, or flapjack batter.

planningaheadtoday · 26/02/2020 21:52

Shipmans spread sandwich on very fresh white hovis with cheese and onion crisps crushed inside. Blush

Muchtoomuchtodo · 26/02/2020 21:54

Chicken super noodle sandwich comes in first, closely followed by a fishmonger sandwich spread with mayo instead of butter and with cheese and tomato sauce. The only reason it’s in second place is that it takes longer to cook!

schoolcook · 26/02/2020 21:55

Crumpets with butter then marmite then black currant jam 😋

Thelnebriati · 26/02/2020 21:58

twinkletoesimnot Have your tried demerara sugar toast? You sprinkle a bit of sugar over melted butter and put it back under a medium grill until it bubbles. You can also sprinkle it with mixed spice, nutmeg or cinnamon.

SleightOfMind · 26/02/2020 21:58

Mine are too weird to be shared but DH’s always goes down well:

Marmite, Dairylea and a scraping of marmalade on something toasted.
Ta dah!

FrankiesKnuckle · 26/02/2020 22:01

Cheese and marmite crumpets.

Mashed potato sandwich/chili sandwich/shepherds pie sandwich

Mint sauce on chips.

Ohffs66 · 26/02/2020 22:04

Mini cheddars dipped in tea or coffee. I have to do it really covertly in the office or people look at me weird.
