To ask what your “dirty secret” foods/snacks are

So I know this has probably been done before but wanted to see what everyone likes again. They don’t necessarily have to be secrets, but maybe things that you wouldn’t let people in RL know except for maybe your dh/partner.

I have an extensive list but will just give a few of my favourites.

Beef & tomato pot noodle sandwich, salt and vinegar crisps with mayonnaise on white bread, ritz crackers with just piccalilli, babybel with piccalilli, salt and vinegar crisps with a little bit of mayonnaise on each individual crisp, and a salt,pepper, jalapeño pepper with mayonnaise sandwich. I do have a lot more things but couldn’t possibly list them all, and that’s just from the top of my head. I don’t eat these things all the time obviously.

@FrankiesKnuckle I love cheese and marmite crumpets. I’ve recently got into spreading cheese triangles on them rather than sliced/grated cheese. It’s delicious

Pasta shells with butter salt and pepper, cheese & onion and mayo sandwiches, sweet corn cold out the tin!

Tuna and red ketchup sandwiches. And I don't care who knows! Everybody says bleurgh, but sure other fish comes in tins with tomato sauce, so not that weird.

@OhWellThatsJustGreat where we live, Bolognese on toast is a thing called Hoagies 😍

Also everyone needs to try this...

Veda bread (an Irish malted bread, google it)
Toasted
With bacon
And strawberry jam
And cheese

Banana, peanut butter and honey sandwiches are my guilty pleasure. I'm thinking next time I might up the ante and fry it in butter. It might take some experimentation to get it perfect but I reckon it'll be worth it. Plus, were always being told to eat more fruits and nuts.

Tinned mackerel in tomato sauce and frozen spinach, heated gently in a pan till hot, added to pasta with butter (or on toast)

Tinned hot dogs in a baguette.

Pizza dipped in American Mustard (dont knock it til you've tried it)

Chocolate digestives used to scoop out a Rolo Dessert.Orgasmic

All the savoury gunk that sticks to the pan after roasting a chicken, I eat it secretly when I'm dishing up

I had a rich tea biscuit sandwich the other day, lots of butter, hadn't thought of it for years . Was so good. I also want to try the jam and crisps sandwiches. I don't think I'd better.

@Ohtherewearethen what could possibly go wrong with banana, peanut butter, honey and some delicious butter. Also I think this sandwich would definitely count towards your five a day

Eggy crumpets with bacon and reggae reggae sauce.
Butter pasta with salt and pepper.
Tinned plum tomatoes with mushrooms on toast with brown sauce.

Beef mince fried with a oxo drained, with grated cheese and baked beans mixed in, it's my favourite!

Salt and vinegar Snack a Jack's with mayo and sliced cheddar. Unreal.
Crisp butties with mayo and chese
Potato waffles done in the chip pan
Eating chocolate and crisps together
Occasionally ill have a pot Noodle or rustlers burger/Bbq rib xx

White toast with a thick layer of Philadelphia and then raspberry jam on top of that. It's like a massive slice of makeshift cheesecake!

Potato waffle sandwich with Ketchup.
Waffles done in the toaster for maximum speed.

Anything with loads of carbs, preferably white bread, does it for me. I love a steak pie sandwich.

Wotsits dipped in spreadable cheese.

@FruityWidow do you cook the crumpets in a pan with the egg like you would with eggy bread? This sound totally delicious to me.
