To not eat this monstrosity

Leftover chicken, some leftover carrot and broccoli, day old mash potato, cabbage, rice, sausages all mixed together into a stodgy lump with cheese on top

I'm not a fussy eater at all but the combination of the leftover foods is making me want to vomit it looks like dog food

You don’t need to eat shit like that to avoid waste...

We use all our leftover foods. We make delicious meals that are just as nice (sometimes nicer) than the original dish.

No need to smush it all together to form some grey sludge that’s punishment to eat!

olympicsrock · 27/02/2020 09:35

No way - looks awful

MortyFide · 27/02/2020 09:46

Meh, doesn't sound too ba...

Sweet baby jesus and the orphans.

Userpompom · 27/02/2020 10:02

Is he OK? Like after eating that but also making that!

atomicblonde30 · 27/02/2020 10:11

I can’t cope with this it’s making me heave Confused

OdeToDiazepam · 03/03/2020 19:42

Well Grin I have to report that I didn't notice any ill effects on him surprisingly

Unfortunately it wasn't eaten by him the next day and I spent about 3 days having to look at it every time I opened the fridge and endlessly trying to persuade him to throw it out before he EVENTUALLY threw it out.

I told him I never want him to make that again when I'm here and he said I'm very rude and don't appreciate good food Confused

But that sounds like fine dining to me!

chaosmaker · 06/05/2020 15:48

Just found this thread, are you still together and has his cooking become anything like cooking yet?

OdeToDiazepam · 22/08/2020 13:32

We are still together! But I've barely let him cook since then or not when I'm eating anyway Grinand I always check what he's cooking first! Many weeks later he coyly admitted that it didn't quite turn out as he'd liked!

Rice or potatoes, not both.

Mmmmmmm student memories. Off to make some leftover rice surprise!

mrsbyers · 22/08/2020 16:14

That should have been made into at least 2 even 3 separate dishes not all mashed into one

KeepingPlain · 22/08/2020 16:16

We are still together!

How?! Grin

giletrouge · 22/08/2020 16:43

They are glued together by their own effluent.
