To have the biggest bedroom?!

It's just me and two DC. Youngest has been complaining about having a tiny room and I've been trying to work out how to change it. A huge chunk of his room is taken up by built in storage. Not sure I have the money to have it all pulled out just yet but maybe in a year or so.

It seems like an obvious solution that I should swap rooms with him.

I love my bedroom though and sometimes we are all in my bed. No idea how I'd fit in the small room but as he gets older it'll probably mean more to him to have a bigger room.

I certainly don't see not doing what we did as strange or unusual - I should think the majority of people wouldn't have, in fact.

As far as size/age goes, our older two have space-consuming musical hobbies which they need/use their space for, plus we like them having space for sleepover friends. There are still quite a few of the little one's toys in the living room. And even her room is not really what you'd call 'small', it's just the smallest. (We live in an old-fashioned flat with very generous rooms - which has almost certainly helped this to work out).

(In terms of the fact that we have been able to utilise storage space and fit a big sofa bed in the living room for us)
