... to think that Priti Patel doesn't sound very nice?

Daily Mail link, but I'm listening to it on BBC Radio 5. It sounds as if Priti Patel is facing lots of complaints because of the way she treats people. Combine that with her politics, and she just doesn't come across very pleasantly. Can she last in her job treating people like this (assuming it is true).

She sounds terrible and I think she is completley out of her depth at the Home Office. I have never rated her since she was sacked from her previous role for floating the rules.

Vile woman. As are many of the male members of the cabinet to include BoJo and his adviser Cummings who comes across as a nasty piece of work. And is a patronising rude scruffy git. Gender is irrelevant.

Priti Hideous Patel however is very unlikeable. Never mind her parents were immigrants here in the 1960s but let's just pull up the ladder behind us shall we?

She doesn't have a bitch resting face, she has a smirk resting face.

'You can't work here because your job offer is only £23K, go back to Lithuania' Smirk
'I know you're a carer for your Mother but you have to pick apples for minimum wage 60 hours a week' Smirk

Don't get me started. You can tell I'm not her biggest fan

Not only does she seem to be vile, she is clearly thick as mince with zero self awareness. Ignorance and arrogance are never a good combination. I can't wait for the day she comes a cropper - won't be long.

She’s a nasty piece of work. But how long she lasts in her job doesn’t depend on her being a nice person. Boris Johnson gives zero fucks about that.

I think she's awful but no one would ever start a thread about the niceness or not of a male politician.

I heard someone on a radio phone in last night say that she looked as if she was loalways smirking. The radio presenter said 'I don't think it's a smirk,it's just her 'resting Home Secretary face'. And no,I don't think she sounds very nice.

She does come across as being particularly unpleasant, but more concerning is the fact that she isn't all that intelligent. The interview where she repeatedly referred to counter terrorist offenders was just embarrassing. It would be nice to have a Home Secretary who knew what they were on about.
