AIBU to feel that it's insensitive for Westminster Abby to ring it's bells to celebrate Andrew's 60th?

Oh I needed a laugh tonight. OPs responses to others are mad as a box of frogs 🤣

"There's two things I judge harshly on. The inability for one to admit when they are wrong and the lack of courage to say I'm sorry. That tells me all I need to know. Because we are all wrong at some point but not all of us are sorry." - Some random person on the Internet.

Just thought this quote was pertinent on several levels to this thread and its subject.

mindproject · 19/02/2020 18:34

He hasn't been charged, but he should be. The reason he hasn't been charged is because he's a royal and they seem to be above the law. We have a justice system which applies to some people and not others, which is disgusting and we should all be angry about it.

They also need to find Maxwell and all the other elite pedos and charge all of them. Then stick them in a jail with the same prisoner that bumped Epstein off.

Twuntsrule · 19/02/2020 18:54

So, a question, raised by viewing Season 3 of The Crown: which do you think the Queen regrets more, her under reaction to the coal mine disaster in Wales, or her initial refusal to publicly mourn Diana? Asking seriously.

Alsohuman · 19/02/2020 18:57

What are they going to charge him with? He slept with a 17 year old. Deeply unsavoury but not illegal.

1forsorrow · 19/02/2020 19:23

or her initial refusal to publicly mourn Diana Do you mean when she was in Scotland with her grandchildren whose mother had died? Harry might be less screwed up if he'd been allowed to stay there with granny rather than being paraded round the crowds of his mother's adoring fans.

mindproject · 19/02/2020 19:29

He slept with a vulnerable, trafficked minor, who had been trafficked by two of the most prolific pedos we have ever seen, who have links to many other elite pedos and all kinds of other criminal activity. He then went on national TV and in front of millions of people lied about what he had done. He needs to be questioned by the police about what he knows. He will lie, but it still needs to happen. In the real world, people go to jail for not paying their TV licences, and yet he can gets away with this. Where is the justice?

mindproject · 19/02/2020 19:31

He slept with her in America when she was 17, which is underage there. The US police need to question him and charge him. We can't have one rule for one and another for everyone else.

mindproject · 19/02/2020 19:34

And if isn't illegal to sleep with sex trafficked minors in this country, then it bloody well should be. And we need to raise the age of consent while we're at it.

LaurieMarlow · 19/02/2020 19:36

And a trafficked person can’t legally consent, meaning sex with them is rape regardless of anything else.

He is of great interest to the investigation. He absolutely should be speaking to the FBI.

Alsohuman · 19/02/2020 19:37

She wasn’t a minor in this country and would only be so in some American states. I’m not condoning anything he’s done, quite the reverse, but he hasn’t broken UK law.

1forsorrow · 19/02/2020 19:40

He slept with a vulnerable, trafficked minor, who had been trafficked by two of the most prolific pedos we have ever seen, who have links to many other elite pedos and all kinds of other criminal activity. He then went on national TV and in front of millions of people lied about what he had done So you witnessed all this did you? You really need to be careful what you accuse people of, there are laws you know.

mindproject · 19/02/2020 19:46

1forsorrow - Virginia Roberts accused him, not me. What he's done is public knowledge. Are you on the RF payroll or something?

mindproject · 19/02/2020 19:48

Your words don't scare me and they don't scare the thousands of others out there that want to see justice done. There are a lot of people that will never let this drop.

mindproject · 19/02/2020 19:50

Why do people want to defend liars, pedos and sex offenders? Makes you wonder, doesn't it.

1forsorrow · 19/02/2020 19:51

So you just believe anything you are told? You have stated quite clearly that he did it, not that he is accused of it. He might have done it, she might be an attention seeker or looking for a payout. You don't know and neither do I.

1forsorrow · 19/02/2020 19:52

Makes you wonder why some people are so keen to believe what they want to believe. Did you do your knitting by the guillotine in a previous life?

1forsorrow · 19/02/2020 19:54

Be careful what you are suggesting about me. I'm prepared to go to law even if Prince Andrew isn't.
