Hay...

Listening to the wind just starting to pick up here in Suffolk.

Is it bad where you are?

Confuseddotcommm · 08/02/2020 22:40

There’s a live and active thread in weather. Nothing in London as yet

lengthenmylutealphase · 08/02/2020 22:41

Yes, in glasgow. It's blowing a hoolie.

Yabadee · 08/02/2020 22:42

Winds been crazy all day here. Torrential winds and rain. It’s to rain continuously until this time tomorrow night, then snow for a further 4 days according to forecast.

Poor DP has to drive from Central Scotland back to work in Reading tomorrow 😔 worried for him already

inwood · 08/02/2020 22:42

Windy, south coast.

youwouldthink · 08/02/2020 22:43

South East Ireland and it's pretty wild out there. Wind so strong that my security light wouldn't come on. . So in the couple of min it took to open the door in the dark we got totally soaked

Aragog · 08/02/2020 22:44

The winds really picked up the hill here I Sheffield. Can hear it whistling round the side of the house. No rain as yet.

Pinkprincess1978 · 08/02/2020 22:44

Wind is pretty noisy and its raining. I can't be bothered to get up to see how bad though. Just heard to noisy women giggling outside so assume its not terrible. I'm in the north east.

VioletVerity · 08/02/2020 22:44

Very windy here in Middlesbrough. Most certainly feels like -19.

Dreaming of summer.

TheGreatWave · 08/02/2020 22:45

NE. Very windy. Getting a little concerned about the conservatory roof. Not sure if all my fences will survive either or my shed.

nocoolnamesleft · 08/02/2020 22:46

Proper gales (with gusting to blowing a hoolie) on the NW coast...

ActualHornist · 08/02/2020 22:47

Didn’t know there was supposed to be a storm. It’s been windy today for sure, but then it often is (NW).

TheGreatWave · 08/02/2020 22:47

Washing dried lovely earlier though.

OnceUponATime000 · 08/02/2020 22:47

Norfolk and just noticed it starting to pick up as I saw this message. Need to get to sleep before it gets too loud and keeps me awake .

studentadvice · 08/02/2020 22:47

Knocked a bus over not far from here (outing self ...) . Pictures of bus on its side in a ditch on Facebook .

AragonsGirl · 08/02/2020 22:48

Was very wet and windy earlier here on the north east coast of Scotland, and we lost power for about an hour. Seems to have calmed a little bit now

PointlessUsername · 08/02/2020 22:48

In SE nothing for me yet.

EmptyFieldOfFucks · 08/02/2020 22:50

Berks. Not noticed much. Bit too close to a main road and the M4 to notice until it gets pounding, but the plane that went overhead about ten mins ago seemed super loud compared to normal.

Northernsoullover · 08/02/2020 22:52

I'm in Cardiff its nothing worrying at the moment....

HoofWankingSpangleCunt · 08/02/2020 22:52

Starting to pick up here on Hertfordshire. My loose shed window is merrily flapping away. Obviously I hope there are no injuries, deaths, too much damage etc but i do love a good storm. However my enjoyment stems from feeling safe and cosy under my duvet, I can imagine that homeless people on the streets are having a very different storm.

Stay safe folks.

justasking111 · 08/02/2020 22:53

Blowing a hoolie in N Wales on coastline, have charged up my phone, dug out torches, charged kindle. Am anticipating power outages very common here. The rain is torrential now the dogs will not go out. We are not getting the worst of it until tomorrow. Sad

CripsSandwiches · 08/02/2020 22:54

Just south of London. It's a little windy but nothing major at all yet.

showmewhatyougot · 08/02/2020 22:55

Essex, nothing here yet!

MaidenMotherCrone · 08/02/2020 22:56

North Wales. It's bad. We are driving home in it. It's like being in a bloody disaster film. 15 more minutes that's all until we get home. Shit this is bad!

bitheby · 08/02/2020 22:57

Power cuts in mid Wales. Mine just went off for a minute but the nearest town has been off most of the evening.

MaidenMotherCrone · 08/02/2020 22:58

@justasking111 we've just passed St Asaph, I've never been so frightened in the car.
