Listening to the wind just starting to pick up here in Suffolk.

Is it bad where you are?

I'm in Kent today . Was slightly picking up at 1030pm just now when we left the pub. Am usually further North sounds like I'm not missing much

Just been out to check on the chickens. Winds fairly picking up here in Suffolk now

Central scotland, bugger all!

I'm just outside Glasgow but more to the east and there's a lot of rain but not too windy yet.

Seems like Wales is getting the worst of it from this thread. I thought it was meant to be hitting SE England. I know they revised the weather warning areas today but still.

Also in Suffolk (never seen so many of us on one thread!), I can hear the wind now, I couldn’t half an hour ago.

Rural central Scotland, a bit of rain earlier in the evening.

Far SE, not much here, just wind. Anyone know if it's due to hit us badly?

NE - wind's picking up. Feels threatening although I realise we're not going to be worst hit. Stay safe everyone!

Nothing yet in Staffordshire. I can hear a gust of wind occasionally but nothing out of the ordinary. I think its set to hit here at midnight.

bitheby it was SE England that had the amber warning yesterday, but that was extended into N England today.

Wales is getting the worst of it first, because it's coming from the west. Seems pretty definite the rest of us will get it in due course...

I'm in E Lancs, cold & wet here but not too windy yet.

Think it's just reached Hastings as the tv is no longer watchable. It sounds strong!! I fucking hate it.

I didn't even know it was a storm, just thought it was standard windy.

I'm about to walk home from the Chinese though so wish me luck 😅

Nothing unusual near Stoke on Trent at the moment.

DS out tonight with a friend who has just passed his test, have sent them a message to drive slowly and safely. Will be so glad when he is home.

Midlands, incredibly windy and cold!

It's picking up in Manchester. Average rain but wind is very harsh against the windows.

Near Liverpool and it is raining hard and the wind is howling.

London here. Just starting banging and crashing noises now following a fairly strong breeze which was freaking freezing 😳

Nothing at all happening in Surrey!
