I'm glad the Tories have got Brexit done and shown those whiners in the EU who's boss.

Now everything bad that ever happens will be completely their fault. Surely stupid, ignorant EU can't possibly be to blame over the might of Britannia. We are in charge! They are our mistakes.

You won, I hope you own it.

TwoZeroTwoZero · 31/01/2020 09:42

Yay we get blue passports and, erm, not a lot else that I can see. That map posted above just shows how small and insignificant we are. I couldn't feel any less patriotic if I tried.

bellinisurge · 31/01/2020 09:42

Hope you get all you deserve, op.

Cinammoncake · 31/01/2020 09:43

Small mindedness prevails. Hope you enjoy your 'win' where you have 'won' precisely nothing and ruined many lives.

peachescariad · 31/01/2020 09:43

Both remainers and leavers will be coming as we are all adult enough to respect we can have different opinions

Love this! - have a great night and Happy Brexit day everyone. Glitterball

TheMobileSiteMadeMeSignup · 31/01/2020 09:43

Pretty sure I've voted in the MEP elections for our representative in Europe. Where we had an equal voice. A veto. A trading market. Oh but we also had worker's rights and incoming tax rules...

SilverySurfer · 31/01/2020 09:44

Boris is not appearing in person at tonight's party to address his nation.
He pre recorded a video instead.

I don't have a problem with that. He is apparently in Sunderland today so may not get back in time to do it live and in any event, I hope he will be busy celebrating

But every "point" you're making for Brexit is untrue OP, can you not see that?

When things get truly fucked up in the coming years and people suffer more for it (especially the poorest, as they always do), and the UK breaks up as a result, I too will take great delight in telling every single person I know that voted for this "told you so, now fuck the fuck off". And I hope every one of the selfish fuckers will put themselves to the back of NHS queues and first in the line when their company makes redundancies. Because they chose this.

GiveHerHellFromUs · 31/01/2020 09:45

A true patriot would never want Farage as PM.

WitchQueenofDarkness · 31/01/2020 09:45

Got the champagne ready to crack open at 11pm tonight

Oh, just do one op.

KaptenKrusty · 31/01/2020 09:48

Oh Gawd - I used to care about Brexit -but now good luck to yis in your "free" Country hahahah

I'm not from here, but i'll stick around in London while I still have a decent job with decent money coming in - but I get to keep my EU passport and can just move back home once it all goes tits up here!

I'd be so ashamed to be British today!

Soz you didn't get your clock to bong though - you must be devastated

YouTheCat · 31/01/2020 09:49

Boris is in Sunderland? What's he doing there? Locking the doors of Nissan?

Villanomme · 31/01/2020 09:50

Britneypeedonaladybug

Yes it says I'm trying to not get too het up, I am still utterly disappointed. But you really think I'll have sympathy if someone's life gets harder as a result of this when they had no clue what they were actually voting for?

Not going to happen. I already made my peace with Brexiteers I know (and there's not many) but I won't tolerate moaning.

Havanananana · 31/01/2020 09:50

We will save billions not paying into the EU failing federal dictatorship.

Instead, the UK has already spaffed away far more money on the fool's errand that is Brexit than it paid in to the EU in the last 47 years. Billions wasted on fighting imaginary foes to achieve an illusionary freedom; 20,000 of the UK's brightest civil servants and business people have wasted millions of hours of work on a project that still has no idea where it is going.

More billions to be spent replicating all of the organisations and standards that were previously shared with the EU. £20bn of government money to be spent on new customs infrastructure that was previously not required - and another £20bn to be spent by companies that export to the EU just to be able to undertake business as usual.

Meanwhile thousands of Honda, Land Rover and other manufacturing workers are now looking at a Brexit Dividend that looks remarkably like a P45.

BonnesVacances · 31/01/2020 09:51

I'm a patriot and proud we are getting our country back. We will no longer be dictated to by unelected and unaccountable beaurocrats.
We will save billions not paying into the EU failing federal dictatorship. Anyway, it's best to get out now. In a few years, there won't be an EU left to escape from!

Haha haha! It's hysterical that with all the fact checking and info that's come out since the referendum, people are still peddling these sound bites! I'm beginning to feel sorry for anyone who actually thinks they might have a good argument for leaving to see their side let down by this utter shite.

Good luck OP. GrinGrin

Presumably escaping London since London, like Scotland, voted Remain

One step closer to Irish reunification.

DameXanaduBramble · 31/01/2020 09:55

Hey, Britneypeedonaladybug. Yes, I’d say there’s a strong chance there is that understanding, because most people aren’t total idiots 🙄.

Sparklesocks · 31/01/2020 09:55
