bellinisurge I've seen it before... awful. Still, hurrah for Brexit eh! Lets all pull together - preferably in the opposite direction.

This is definately a hoax thread. Nobody who can spell can be that deluded.

My 13 year old nephew, who is British but speaks fluent French, was abused for speaking French on the tube yesterday. He is a child. They were adults. They swore at him all because he was speaking French. Yeah
What a sparkly future ahead...

Thought Boris' speech to business leaders was really good.
Now we are out of the EU we are free to set our own rules.

Just checking in to see if the £350m for this week has been paid into the NHS yet?

notaflyingmonkey · 03/02/2020 14:03

I see that pensioners have given up £70 a week already. Good of them to take one for team Boris.

nonsensicalmess · 03/02/2020 18:47

What "rules" couldn't be made before,@Coppersulphate , and for what reason could they not be made?

malylis · 03/02/2020 19:23

"free to set our own rules".

Not if we want to trade on WTO terms or with other countries in FTAs.

Nevermind eh?

What?

Good to see opportunities already drying up for us and the next generation who might want to travel when they are young but will now have to jump through hoops or give up the opportunity completely.

From the Ryanair recruitment day the first requirement listed for cabin crew is 'Applicants must have the unrestricted right to live and work in the EU'.

As someone who works in the travel industry we are gearing up for a sea change for Brits who want to do working holidays on the continent. Being a rep for a Spanish resort for example will sadly be a thing of the past in a few years time.

And the pound has fallen to an eight year low

That link goes to a 2017 article! And the pension cuts went through in 2007. By all means point out what shit it all is but quoting historic sources isn’t helpful.

P999 · 03/02/2020 20:10

Yep. Can't wait for the nursing crisis to turn into full blown catastrophe too. Happy blinkered, delusional, embarrassing, flag waving, insular, screw- the- next -generation and believe whatever crap the red tops think sell papers day OP.
