In opposition to the brilliantly funny 'ick' thread, would love to know what single random thing made you drop your knickers and think phwoooaarrrrrr?

Mine with now DH was the first time we met. A group of people were playing rounders in the park and the tennis ball came flying towards us and DH just effortlessly caught it, one handed, and without missing a beat carried on chatting to me. I very nearly jumped him there and then.

Very sexy voice and manner of speaking - this more than anything, I think.

Also classic manly chin and jaw (I can't really describe).

Dark eyebrows and eyelashes with greeny blue eyes, and an intense but also friendly, warm gaze.

Great arse.

Body hair of the right texture in all the right places (and none of the wrong ones).

Slightly dishevelled, slightly curly, wavy, soft, lovely head hair.

Being intelligent and interesting and interested.

Giving me compliments on my intellect instead of just looks.

Taking me in his arms when we fall asleep and throughout the night.

His Irish accent and jet black hair. We met at uni and over the years the hair has greyed and his accent has muted after 30 years of living in Scotland but he's still sexy to me .

His smile initially, then a shit load of drink got me back to his, he took off his shirt and it was "wowsers"....hiding a 4 pack, broad shoulders, defined chest (no hair) and magnificent arms. Then to his boxers, and oh my, it still gets me...his arse, ooooooft! A little more padding these days but he's still got it going in, apart from the 4 pack...it's more of a keg these days (his words)

Humour. DH is the funniest man I've met in real life, and it's never unkind humour, there's never an ounce of meanness in anything he says or does. That's my 'oooosh' thing if someone makes me properly belly laugh.

Also when he was suited and booted for a proper black tie event for the first time, my pants actually combusted.

How plainly he wanted me, with zero messing around. After that, his intellect - this real belief that he was a smart, logical person and could solve myriad problems by putting his mind to them.

More generally - I’m a sucker for an accent Grin.

Dp is the only person that has ever that has stopped me in my tracks.

We met briefly. As I was leaving he looked at me and made a joke and smiled. Never felt anything like it.

When he walks in a room now, I still think 'wow'.

That and the fact there was no game playing. He wanted me, I wanted him & there was none of the immature shite that I'd dealt with, with others I'd dated.

I crave the look most in life.

Had it recently - with a friend, terrifies the life out of him, but it keeps happening and he is protesting that we are friends and shouldn't have such thoughts.... Hmm

We worked together, both in different relationships that ended well before anything started but I had always admired..
The way he worked, getting his hands dirty, rolling up his sleeves so high that you could just about make out the muscles and the heavy lifting. It was like proper manly man.
Yet to talk to him.. he's camp as christmas!
I get the best of both worlds with my husband haha

His intense, sparkling blue eyes which are literally stunning. He has quite an intense gaze (not deliberately, if you see what I mean). Still gets to me now after 13 years and two kids. Also very curly hair, broad shoulders, tall but not too tall and a kind of laid back voice. He irritates the hell out of me half the time... but phwoar!!! No ick going on here!!

The driving! The arm on the back of the passenger seat to reverse and the talking at the same time as checking mirrors. So weirdly hot.

Also - performers. Comedians etc. I’m a sucker for them.

He took me to a restaurant on our first date. But there was a live band on and we couldn’t hear each other very well. Within a couple of minutes he made the executive decision for us to leave and find somewhere else. I found this assertiveness very attractive as well as the fact he wanted to talk to me properly and get to know me. The second restaurant he took me to was closed down. By the time we got to the third I was extremely cold. He didn’t let it get him down.
