Inspired by another thread where I was looking at all the different dishes people have.

I tend to do
Turkey and a ham
Roast potatoes and mashed potatoes
Red cabbage
Carrots (roasted)
Parsnips
Yorkshire puddings (yes I know!!)
Sprouts (bacon is usually involved).
Stuffing
Pigs in blankets

Am so tempted to add cauliflower cheese this year. I also forgot (and hope this isn’t outing), thanks to a very old family tradition - if the wider family comes our Christmas dinner also includes... baked beans

OP posts:
Jinglebellissimo · 14/12/2019 22:40

But they have to literally be baked - in a tray in the oven...

We’re veggie so I change the main part every year. Have flirted with mushroom wellington, Delia Smith’s cheese and parsnip roulade, nut roasts etc.
Always roasties, NOT mash.
Honey roasted veggies- usually sprouts, parsnips and chantaney carrots.
Veggie pigs in blankets
Stuffing
Homemade onion gravy.

Never Yorkshire puddings even though I am a Yorkshire pudding Grin.
