Yabu - no one makes you watch them it's not like they know ;) I love them and I love that ITV are much more embracing of MH since Ant's breakdown and encouraging of viewers to support each other!

As someone who has multiple breakdowns this is very insulting, he was a drug/drink addict who had to do something for his career.

It's funny on Mumsnet most people would say LTB but because hes a celeb it's ok.

I don't mind them but I really can't look at Ant in the same light. The drink driving with barely any consequence and the way he has treated his ex wife is a bit yucky for me. Mind you I rarely watch the programmes they do.

He just comes across as a likeable person to a lot of people , it’s ok not to like just as it’s ok to like him.
And as for the break downs , you don’t get the monopoly on them and addiction is a very valid breakdown catalyst.
Wouldn’t every one try and do better to save their career, in the public eye or not ?

I wonder if he'd killed somebody, likely as he was drunk driving, would people be so forgiving?

I always quite liked them. They seemed polite and hard working. I have friends who worked with them and they were always very positive about them.
But I have a zero tolerance attitude to drunk driving. That doesn't change because Ant's famous.

Personally I'm not sure why Ant gets vilified for how his marriage ended. Lisa seems to talk about it a lot more, especially on Twitter. Ant seems to keep quiet about it mainly. And you can't say paps taking photos of him having a life is him flaunting anything. The photos all look like him going about his usual business with paps hiding nearby. Lisa has been a bit less dignified and a bit more airing dirty laundry in public. By al accounts they were both big drinkers/party animals and it sounds like they weren't good for each other.

I love them both and so glad Ant is back.
The man is a fucking idiot for drink driving absolutely but he deserves the opportunity to learn from his past, get help and move on with with his life. He clearly regrets his behaviour. I think they are both amazing. So genuine and funny and deserve their fame, fortune and careers.
