@HeresMe
I really like them, and like other posters, they make me laugh out loud sometimes, and I LOVE them on I'm a Celebrity. Also, I think it's very unfair for Ant to be punished for life for what happened (when he caused a car crash by being over the limit.) He made a stupid mistake, and received the punishment that the law dished out.
This is going to be like Cheryl from Girls Aloud. Got involved in a spat with an attendant in a public loo, (16 years ago,) and hit out at the woman, and people still constantly bring it up, even though she was punished suitably at the time.
They could find a cure for every disease on the planet, and people would still drag up that one shitty thing they did in the past. It's quite low and scuzzy to keep dragging up a particular negative thing someone did in the past, in order to attack them, and score points.
Someone mentioned Phil and Holly earlier in the thread. I am not a huge fan of them. I find Phil a bit sanctimonious, and Holly rather talentless and squeaky. And I find their constant 'laughing fits' very irksome. It grates on me when I see This Morning winning the best daytime TV programme at the NTA awards EVERY SINGLE YEAR. (Then again, it's also a bit tedious that Ant and Dec have won the 'Best Presenters' for 19-20 years in a row!)
I do agree with a few other posters that it is boring, and a bit crap, that they keep using the same small pool of presenters on TV, and they do need to give a lot more people a chance. I know a few people who are in the performing arts industry, and despite being very talented, and having been around for 15-20 years in the industry, they cannot get that big break. And they never will, with the best jobs being given to the same small bunch of people.
I agree with @rhubarbcrumbles too, that there was no need to start an unpleasant thread about Ant and Dec.
