I've got a mild hangover after Christmas drinks last night, DH has his works Christmas do tonight and I cannot wait just to snuggle on the sofa in my PJ's with a pizza once DS is in bed.

I want to watch an old familiar film which I've seen before, which I don't have to concentrate on and which will sooth my achy post hangover body.

What is your top re-watch film for situations like this? My brain is too frazzled to think!!

@Gobelinoisawitchescat I got my copy ages ago, but it's still available at a few places:

Labyrinth. Definitely. The balldress! David Bowie’s tight, tight, tights! “You have no power over me!” “You remind me of the babe”. It is a hug in celluloid form.

What is it about The Holiday? It’s a terrible film that made little impact when it was released, and yet...I am another one who enjoys an occasional rewatch.

However, I would vote for The Princess Bride.

LeslieYep · 06/12/2019 22:20

Princess bride!
I've loved this film for decades!

Also stranger than fiction. Excellent film with a straight performance from will Ferrell.
